Portsmouth basketball will be hosting a youth basketball tournament at the PHS old gym. It's for girls grade 3/4 and 5/6 Dec. 26 and 27; and boys 3/4 and 5/6 Jan. 2 and 3rd. Cost is $100 per team. Tournament contact: Tim Harr 935-6886 or Aaron Schmidt 357-0212.

What age is the player? There are several local tryouts in the next few weeks for the 2010 season.

Josh got called up to the big leagues Saturday night. He will be with the Royals Tuesday night against the Whitesox. The Royals then go to New York to play the Yankees. The first of next week they will be in Cleveland.
