Re: Scioto Valley Conference Predictions

I wouldn't count out Boedeker in the 3200. I think Matt will win it. With Unioto not coming to the SVC meets we can't really compare them, I think the only one I saw them at was the ZT meet.

Re: Top Scioto Valley Conference performers

It is nice to have them listed like this. Thanks to whoever took the time to do it.

Re: Top SVC throwers?

At the SE Inv. last week the SVC throwers did well. To even place in shot put you had to throw over 40 feet. This was the most competition I have seen in this event for awhile. Last year a throw of about 36' would be enough to place you. Moore from Piketon was 3rd with 44' 3.5" Cochran from SE ...

Re: 100m times

I found a copy of a meet my son competed in when he was in Jr. High. The meet was May 4th, 2005. I think it was probably the Jr. High SVC meet. These are the winners and times Girls 1 Bryant Adena 13.70 2 Bull Westfall 13.80 3 Loel Adena 13.80 4 Barker PV 14.20 5 Horsley Unioto 14.40 6 Tatman ZT 14....

Re: Top SVC throwers?

The boys throwers should be pretty equal on shot this year. Gage McFadden is always good at PV and HHS and Piketon usually have some throwers. UHS will miss Rue, but I think they had a pretty good 2nd thrower last year. I think most teams should have someone throwing between 40 and 50 on shot. Anyth...

Re: Coach Jordan of Southeastern

I had to explain this to some people at Unioto who said the same thing about all the assistant coaches. All the people you see sitting on the sidelines aren't coaches. You have a couple of statistitions (or however it is spelled). I think there are only about 3 assistant coaches.

Congrats to the Cavs. We would have been proud either way, but great win today.

Re: Chesapeake vs. Huntington Ross 2/24

Good Luck to HHS in this one. Hopefully they will play up to their potential in this game.

Another name that should be mentioned for the Huntsmen that isn't is Dave Collins. He has had some really good games this year and IMO should see more play time than he does.

No, but there is a Huntington St. Joe, and Huntington, WV school that people talk about on here. I believe they are different school, maybe not, but the Ross helps me know if it is the SVC school or not.

I think the administration can do both. Tell the one boy that he should not make comments like he did, that nothing good could have come from it, and then punish him. Tell the second boy that he can't let people bait him into a fight, learn to control his temper, and then punish him. We all rolled o...

My son goes to Southeastern. He doesn't throw disc, just shot and runs. I think this year he is hoping to just throw. He is practicing with disc hoping to improve, but we can't get anyone to help with our throwers. My son has to power to sail both of them, but he lacks technique. I think his longest...

I just remembered that our Jr. High coach made all of our boys a booklet on the year with all the seasons results. The Logan boys name was John Neff. Is he still around throwing?

When my son was in 7th grade Logan had this tall, thin thrower in the 8th grade who was amazing. He would be a junior this year. Is he still around? What is he up to throwing now. I remember he was out throwing the big stocky boys in the shot. Someone told me he did Jr. Olympics.

I think in a previous post i was trying to say that Drew Bobb had the best stats that year but heck who else was gonna score for that team they where flat out horrible. I will agree that Milike...
