Re: Warren @ Fort Frye Dec 30th

Warren should demand that Fort Frye use some of that big gate to pay a third JV ref. Regardless of how it "used to be" you should never see a two man crew at the JV boys level. Spending an extra 50 to pay another ref would improve the quality tremendously.

Re: District 3/12 7PM: Logan Elm vs. Warren @ Convo

Congrats to the Warriors on making it to the District Final. I'm sure the coaching staff has the blue and white well prepared for this battle of epic proportions. I cant tell you how many times I've heard Coach talk about laying it off the glass for the district title when doing drills. I'll probabl...

Re: SE District DII Semi: Washington CH vs. Warren

Finally game day... The 2001 district semifinal against GMcclain was perhaps the greatest Warren game ever, and something that I will always remember. Curt Morris and that game made a lot of little kids want to be Warriors. Guys, when you hit the court tonight at the Convo, look up in the stands and...

Re: What's Left 4 Warren: 2/17-Logan, 2/19-Gallia, 2/23-F.Union

I have always said it should be a Warren goal every year to win the league and go 6-0 against washington county teams. Going 6-0 against the county is something that i have no memory of ever being done before. 2004-8-12, losses to all WC teams (1-5) (coach maddox's only losing season at Warren) 2005...

Re: What's Left 4 Warren: 2/17-Logan, 2/19-Gallia, 2/23-F.Union

I have to say I've been extremely pleased with the Warriors this season. We're down to the most important part of the year, closing in on a 15+ win season. I think we're at a point in the year where we can quit focusing on what we aren't and make sure that we do what we're capable of on a nightly ba...

Re: Warren @ Ironton, 12/22

Warrior CC, Your post makes very little sense. It seems as though you've tried to say something, but don't really want to say what that is. I believe it does matter how you "get to the end of the rainbow", and Coach Maddox and company can certainly get Warren there. One thing Coach Maddox ...

Re: Warren @ Ironton, 12/22

Right now, the Warriors sit at 4-2. At this rate the Warriors will finish in the 12 to 14 win range, which is unofficially average over the last 10 years in Vincent. The fact that someone would suggest that Coach Maddox is the root of the problems exposed in the last two contests is absolutely ridic...

Re: Portsmouth @ Warren 12/18

I'll wait a little while to declare this Warren squad the best in five years, as that takes out a league champion squad of 2006 to say the least. Right now the Warriors are scoring big, and the Maysville win impressed me, but I think the pressure is without a doubt still on the blue and white to per...

Re: Warren@Belpre 12-16

I believe it's only six straight for the Warriors dating back to a Belpre win in their second matchup of the 2005-2006 season (Alkire, Thornhill, Adams v Barth, Caldwell, Smith) . I also believe that Warren can make it seven straight, but it starts on the defensive end. Defensive pressure has frustr...

Re: Brig Waginger West Carolina

Saw Waginger play for the first time last year in the Cats win over Kent State. A great win for the Larry Hunter coached Catamounts yesterday in Kentucky. Anybody know why Newark's Greg Avery left Western? I know that he is now at Findlay, but bet he really wishes he would have been at Freedom Hall ...

Re: Fort Frye @ Warren, 12/8

Although very trivial until someone gets hurt, the problem with the cheerleaders could be easily solved by having Warren switch their bench to the other side of the scores table. This way, they would warm up on the side of the court closest to their locker room. It used to be that way until they swi...

Re: Fort Frye @ Warren, 12/8

The Warriors have lost three straight to the Cadets dating back to 2008. Hopefully this years Warriors take that personally and get a solid W tomorrow night. It's always a good win to beat a great coached and disciplined team like Fort Frye. The Warriors will have their hands full though, the Cadets...

Re: Warren vs. Chillicothe @ the convo 3/5 8PM

Congratulations to the Cavs. Didnt make it to the game, but it sounds like the Warriors played their hearts out. I sincerely believe this season was one of Coach Maddox's best coaching performances. He really got a lot out of these players and I hope he's at Warren for another 10 years. These player...

I was going to post on this subject, but then i was distracted by something else. noreply has posted nearly 141 thousand times in less than four years! that is insane, so i did a little math. in this time span, to post almost 141,000 times you're posting over 100 times per day. if it takes two minut...

How bout we quit talking so much about what J Hebb does or doesnt do. Give the kid a break, i know that nobody is putting any blame on him for losses, but here's a guy thats done everything asked of him this year and all anyone wants to say is we can win without him. Of course it takes five guys to ...

Re: Athens v. Warren, 2/27 8:30 PM, Logan Sectional

I trust that the players know that this is the most important game of the year, and will by no means be an easy win. When you are playing for a chance to cut down some nets, you can bet that the team you're playing against will be playing with all the fire and tenacity they have. So hopefully we're ...
