Re: Top Players in the SE District 2015

DI's do not sign kids (especially if they are giving them any money) to not play... just because the common fan doesn't see what THEY EXPECT from a kid going DI doesn't mean the skill set is not there. If we all knew what they were looking for then I guess that would make us all DI coaches earning ...

Re: East Carters Montana Fouts verballs to.....

Take it from me, it is a HUGE commitment, for both the athlete and her parents. Not to mention, expensive! BUT, in the end look at what lifelong memories you are making and the experiences you are having!: facing the absolute top level teams in the country/world, all of the people you get to meet tr...

Re: MONDAY SCORES & SCHEDULE: 4/22

Bron99 That was a very good description on your earlier comment of how travel ball benefits high school programs when young kids strive to find the highest levels to compete in. As a travel ball parent yourself, you understand that even though these girls wear different high school uniforms, there i...

Re: MONDAY SCORES & SCHEDULE: 4/22

Sharpie I dunno who you are and really don't care but my post regarding those two particular coaches showing up was simply in regards to the young lady from Wheeler Burg who has worked her tail off since she was a 10 u player, not from Waverly as I'm sure by your post you was hoping it was. This wa...

Re: get out and support the Baseburner's tourney this weekend

I only got to watch 12-U games at this tournament, but I want to say that I was VERY impressed with TNT Explosion (12U). They are a very solid team defensively as well as offensively. If they play like they did this weekend all of the time, then I don't see them getting beat much this season...if at...

Re: get out and support the Baseburner's tourney this weekend

Okay. I just answered my own question. I went to another unnamed sports forum and found out as of May 8th the following teams are entered in the tournament: 10U Lady Aces Total Chaos TNT Explosion Buckeye Divas 12U Ohio Stingrays-Douglass Buckeye Elite Mountain Thunder Scioto County Fire Lady Aces T...

Re: Report From ASA Eastern National - Salem, VA

I, too, am proud of the Wild Thangs. They have truly made an impression in the whole tri-state area in the past 3 years. I wish the best of luck to all of the girls trying out for Stingrays, Lasers, Doom, or whichever team they may want to play for. I have no doubt that these girls will go far!!! 20...

Re: NSA state tourney results for the Wild Thangs 12u

Tealtown was quite crazy this past weekend...lots of peeved parents, coaches and players. Too bad they had so many teams (111, I believe) and couldn't handle a little bit of rain. Oh well. I want to wish the 12U Wild Thangs good luck in the NSA World Series. We'll see you there !

Re: District 11 Softball Tournaments

I think the lack of teams this year is just the beginning of what's to come of little league softball. . . I know I'm going to get slammed for this, but I believe that the stronger, more competitive kids at this age are playing travel ball and realize that little league isn't where competitive ball ...
