SE has had two great wins in a row (Zane Trace and Eastern Brown, and I think both teams were shocked) and have a lot of confidence right now. Which is how a team should be playing going into the tourney. This should be a good game. Hopefully the weather cooperates so all the teams can play Sunday.

I have not seen Fairland play, but I have heard they are fast and can shoot. I think it will come down to defense and rebounding, like it did in SE's last two wins over Zane Trace and Eastern Brown.

The all svc team is a complete joke! There are players that got honorable mention that are far better than players on second team. It is obviously a popularity contest, and not based on talent.

Nice job by SE to hold on for the win. Hall and Shanks for Huntington had very nice games. SE had 4 in double figures, but only one other player scored.

I know the floors are expensive, but he barely put a toe on it near the exit. It was a little over the top.

I was told that Southeastern was ready to play and RV refused to come. It is rescheduled for Jan. 12.

FYI: they are no longer called Richmond Dale Southeastern, since the new school is no longer in Richmond Dale. I wander if they will have the game since the weather is not so good.

What will hurt SE (just like last year) is poor coaching. Uhrig has no discipline, and subs too much. That led to inconsistency last year, and the players did not respect him. But they do have some good young talent.

I believe it was 1981 when Southern beat Southeastern in 2OT's and they cut down their own nets! It was the craziest thing I ever witnessed at a game. SE went on to state semi's and lost to Kalida. But that was a good rivalry also in the 80's.

SE should be better next year, even w/o Brown, and especially if they get a new coach. Poor judgement and poor class on coaches part Friday nite to start pulling starters w/ nearly 7 min. left! He basically gave up, and the fans noticed it.

If Unioto was dominating the league every year, then I would say they are totally out of place in the SVC. So they are obviously not that dominant. And they were co-champs this year, not outright champs. Personally, I think the league is pretty good the way it is.

i look for ZT to take this one. They have been playing better lately, and have some confidence after that last win.

I haven't seen Eastern play this year, but I have heard they are pretty good. But don't count SE out. When they are hitting on all cylinders, they also can be good. I look for it to be very close. Good luck Panthers!

Great win for a young SE team. I didn't see it, but I did not hear anything "controversial" about it, except one SE player got a black eye and another got his tooth knocked out.
