Not everyone is going to agree with whoever is hired. But in order for GAHS to have continued success, the community needs to get behind the new coach and support him!

You can't fault the man for wanting to get back to the area he is from. He has done a fine job here at GAHS, and I wish him nothing but the best. I just hope that who ever is hired can continue the success of the program.

Hopefully the Rebels can get that 1st W of the season.

Won't even be a contest. It is sad that this program is going in the wrong direction. Just wonder what it will take to right the ship?

Going to have to go with Belpre in this one. Would like to see SG get thier first win of the season, but from rumors being told SG is just packing it up and looking toward Basketball season.

If South Gallia plays like they did against Trimble, it may be another long night. This could be SG only chance to get a win this season.

I am going to have to pick Meigs in this one. I read on facebook where Meigs had 26 players and an assistant coach recieve salvation last weekend. That is amazing, and I thank God for Coaches like Mike Bartrum and his staff for worrying more about the persons eternal security.

This should be a great contest Friday Night. But in the end I have to say Go Blue!

I am going to have to go with RV in this one. RV is a program that is on the rise and it will be tough for Southern to stay in this game.

I understand what you are saying and I agree completely about keeping it simple. A high school team can be successful with just 5 to 6 running plays and 5 to 6 passing plays. With a new OC, it may take some time to get the timing down. But realistically, if the WR, RB, and QB are taught the proper fundamentals based off footwork, route running, and situation, it should not take that long at all. I don't care what type of offense or defense GAHS runs, as long as the coaches put the kids in positions to excell.

If it was me, I would have Jacob White at FB and put Ethan Spurlock at TB, with Mikey Wheeler handing the ball off to them. They have to find a way to get those kids on the field at the same time.
