Where is Valley's junior high gym...next to new h.s.?

Where does Lucasville Valley junior high play their basketball games? If it's in the junior high, is that next to the new high school? Thanks.

Re: Piketon (8-2) @ Minford (8-2) Rematch Week 11

Great job Piketon Redstreaks! Coach Gullion has done a great job down there getting kids excited to play football. Although it was hard to say goodbye to a fellow SOC team who exceeded everybody's expectations (great job Falcons), it is exciting to see playoff football in Pike County again!

Re: Junior High Boys Basketball

Waverly has good size and some kids that play really physical in the 7th grade...just need to continue working on our ball-handling.

Re: Week 10 - Minford at Valley - SOC II Championship(share)

I think there are some very interesting match-ups in this game. Valley is not flashy in the backfield, but very solid. Their backs are deceptively strong and quick, and when they run behind Hettinger and Dunn, they can get downhill in a hurry. Minford does a great job of getting the edge, and I don'...

Re: Week 9 (1-7) Waverly @ (7-1) Minford

In what was the most difficult game to call on the radio in my tenure by a longshot, I can't help but mention the class that the Falcons showed Friday night. From the cheerleaders taking up a donation in Minford's stands for the Szoke family, the way in which the Falcons played aggressively but not ...

Re: Waverly Junior High Football

Toast, I agree. When you combine these two classes, you have the makings of a pretty good football team. Hopefully they all continue playing at the next level, because that is where we are losing kids...from junior high to high school. I think much of that can be attributed to us not having a freshm...

Waverly Junior High Football

The Tigers 7th and 8th grade teams both won vs. Portsmouth last night. I was very impressed with the Tigers improvement during the year. The 7th grade started out a little rough vs. Minford in our first game of the year, but once we got guys in the right place, they really got better as the year wen...

Re: Chillicothe visits Gallipolis Friday

I read in the paper where he was in critical condition...I had not heard that he died. My heart breaks for his family and the CAVS extended family. Prayers from Waverly for all of you! We've all done crazy stuff like that as kids...go home and hug your kids and tell them you love them!

Re: Week 6 (1-4)Waverly@ (5-0)Valley

I think we passed the point of needing to make changes many moons ago. The problem with Waverly is the people at the top (the administration) could give a hoot less about sports, especially football. Now, if there was a problem with the band or drama club, we'd be on that in a whip-stitch! I think t...

Re: WEEK 3: Western Brown @ Waverly

There are 70 kids playing pee wee tackle football (mostly in 5th and 6th grade), and there are 60 kids playing junior high...developing depth in the younger grades is not our problem.
