Re: Mid-State League Buckeye

I think that this is Logan Elm's year; I think they had one senior last year and return a lot on their team.

Circleville and Amanda can't be overlooked. What does Bloom Carrol bring back to the table?

huntsmen- are you a current player/student or a fan? The way you put your sentences looks like a lot of high school students would.

Re: Logan Elm vs. Shawnee

You know, you really hate to see losses like this. Well, that's just how sports are; win some lose some. Anyways, I'm very proud of this group of seniors and all of the work they've put into helping build this program the last two years. Good luck in everything else you do boys and enjoy your senior...

Well Friday I'll be at the Logan Elm/Springfield Shawnee game @ Hilliard Bradley, but Saturday I don't know where I want to go to.

Re: Coshocton vs. Clearcreek....

Amanda's back was a horse, but without the line he had he wouldn't have been so spectacular. Their run defense is also very good. I take Amanda 31-14.

Re: Interesting - Region 15 & Lawrence County

I can't wait until one of those Lawrence County teams (Ironton) runs into Amanda Clearcreek.

At least I hope they do; it'll be a heck of a game.

Re: Mid-State League Buckeye

Logan Elm and Bloom Carrol will duke it out for this one.

Logan Elm does have a couple good schools on their schedule non-conference; Westerville South, Detroit Prep, and (I think it's at ZT) Waverly.

Who do you support?

Quite simply, what team do you support? I'm new here, so I'd like to see who you guys support.

(I know a lot put your school in your name though)

Re: WHATS THE THAUGHTS ON THE SVC

And who does he support? I'll be willing to bet if that person likes anybody in SE Ohio, the 2007 Westfall team would have smashed them.

Re: Being Competitive in Playoffs ?

Also, scheduling is huge. Amanda Clearcreek (the team that beat Alexander) plays against three D2 schools, a handful of D3 schools, and some D4 schools. Not to forget Newark Catholic, a very strong team also.

Re: Being Competitive in Playoffs ?

I might be off here but I have another thought. A lot of guys that play at bigger schools also only play one sport. Take track for example, to northern kids it's a big deal and they spend all year working for one sport. The competition is such at bigger schools that a lot of guys can only play one ...

Re: WHATS THE THAUGHTS ON THE SVC

What will be another huge asset for Westfall is their non-conference run. The Pickaway County Championship pits them against three teams that are bigger than EVERYBODY on their schedule and that competition gives them a head start on everyone else.

Re: WHATS THE THAUGHTS ON THE SVC

I hope you're talking about 2010, because it's a little late for 09 . The SVC will be wide open next year. Who was the JV champs? Frosh? Zane Trace and Westfall graduate quite a bit don't they? Adena will be the team to look out for. They started slow because of youth, but was like 4-3 or 5-2 down t...

Re: Welcome former JJ posters to SEOPS!

I'm also new here, from JJhuddle. I'm a Logan Elm fan and follow Logan Elm athletics (being a former football player) as well as the Mid State League Buckeye Division, the South Central Ohio League, and the Scioto Valley Conference. The posters on the site (most of them) were good people to talk to ...
