Wow. Seth Hardin was a man possessed tonight. Did he ever come off the field? Waverly had a fine team and Walls was very good. The biggest play of the game, IMO, was the 4th down at the Westfall 40, when Westfall held. 3 plays later, it was 27-14. It was late in the half and Waverly was going to get...

burggrad- Take 23 North through South Bloomfield, turn right at the final light of SB(just past the Dairy Queen on the left) and that takes you into Ashville...then the field is about a mile on the right.

Logan Elm left in the Mid 70's
Bishop Flaget would still be in it...if it was still open.
Unioto actually did leave the SVC for the SCOL for 2 years in the mid 70's, but those are the only changes since the late 60's.

Army- In your ridiculous rambling you forgot one really big problem...and since you have to use everyone's town, Carroll Bloom Carroll. Also, Paint Valley is D5, so the SVC has 0 D6 teams. Paint Valley has also not ever been D6. What other sports does Westfall dominate the SVC in? So, they would onl...

Didn't Mr. Bise get forced into a resignation as the AD at Westfall last year?

I agree Athens would be the ideal place on mileage and everything, but shouldn't the higher seed(Westfall) get somewhat of an advantage.

I'm not a follower of either team, I'm just throwing out some thoughts.

Longer Bus Trip, used to playing on grass.

So, if it rains on Tuesday, the field won't dry by Saturday?

Waverly to Jackson- 26.2 miles, 33 minutes
Westfall to Jackson- 54.7 miles, 1 hour, 4 minutes

Waverly to Athens- 65 miles, 1 hour, 14 minutes
Westfall to Athens- 71.6 miles, 1 hour, 21 minutes

I don't see why Westfall would want to play at Jackson...at all.

SVC- Let me gather some stuff and I'll post at least a little something by the end of the week.

BTW, I would take 4th place in the league...and a district title any season.

Dani California's Final Top 10 of the Season

Well, due to what seemed like a lack of interest and a lot of time away from the computer, my top 10 went on a hiatus, but I'm going to post the final Top 10(11), since all SEO teams are out. Just Missed: South Webster, New Boston, Waverly, Eastern Brown 10t. Wheelersburg(14-3-1)- Disappointing fini...

And they lost by 35.

Did Miller outscore Oates that season? I believe that Oates led the league in scoring and rebounds. Miller, I'm sure was right up there in points and assists. He was the best player, IMO, but I can see why the other coaches would vote for Oates over Miller.

He wasn't hands down the best player, but he should've won the award. Some coaches just vote for the player whose team won the league and Miller's did not, Oates' team did.

chilltown- That's what is ridiculous about Chillicothe this year, Baker is a pretty solid player(only seen him at CHS) and for him to not be getting decent minutes just shows how deep they are going to be.

They lost most of their scoring and playing time from last year, along with 3-time captain(one of only 3 in Unioto history) Nick Easterday. Steve Clusman and Clinton Brown return from last year's team, but I'm not sure of how many else they have back. I'm sure I'll be able to give you a better previ...
