heard the first base umpire, for Portsmouth/Piketon game, was ask out on the parking lot to do the game because one of the assigned umpires that was supposed to do this game could not make it?

Be proud of where you finished Portsmouth, not many teams in southern ohio can say they ever played in the final 4, and even less teams can say they have been there as many times as you have, you beat some very good teams along the way,and left a few of them wondering , what the hell just happened

I did not make the game, but I stayed home and tuned in on the radio, with my mommy , and it sounded like Portsmouth could not contain the big man

I remember a Burg team back in 1984 that alot of people didn't give a snowballs chance in hades of beating the Trojans in the District finals and boy were they wrong. I believe if you ask any true Trojan fan, that has to be in the top five of the worst losses by them as that Trojan team already had...
