Waverly could be a tough out in DIII. Senior loaded teams have a lot to play for come tourney time. Valley, Portsmouth and Burg to Waverly sectional helps also.

Kneisley(Chilli) will probably play the 2 guard and add some size and scoring. Heibel would be then moved to the 1 and add scoring also. Tigers loaded with seniors which is a good thing. I again ask the question, why don't they have a county tournament in Pike anymore? Eastern has been good for several years and this would give Waverly another good opponent on their schedule. How did Waverly look in the shootout? Should have several seniors to contribute this year. Will scoring be a problem again this year? Did the big boy play for Minford? Figured he would be a problem for Peebles in the post.

Improve your program or kids will transfer. Southeastern (players), Oak Hill (coach) etc. will be tempting. Howard would be a good fit for the Jr. High coming up.

smurray, alot questions meaning: Who is going to step up and lead this team? When is Hart going to return? How is this team going to find points? Seems like a few questions that need to be answered in order to take the next step. Robertson will put the time and effort in to make them better.

Northwest sounds like they hung in for a half. Peebles has a very nice team, has Northwest improved this year or was Peebles cold for a half?

I think it may be possible to see these teams go at it again come tourney time. 2 evenly matched (very good) teams. DIII will be interesting again this year.

Robertson is still at Waverly. How is the reserve team looking? Any talent at the Jr.High? How long before Waverly rebuilds? Everyone knew losing Kretzer would hurt. Alot of questions coming out of Waverly right now. Keep your heads up, the schedule hasn't been in your favor.

Do any of Western kids play OYB or AAU? Little late for the high school kids but young kids can benefit from playing in the off season. Several classes in a row like they had a few years ago or a couple of transfers. Transfers are only a temporary fix to an underlying problem. Sometimes there is not the talent there to be competetive.

Look for Jackson to make nice run this year. Several nice players on this team.

Manchester has lost alot of talent the last couple of years. They will play hard, just have have the horses to compete with Peebles this year. But hey, thats why they play the game, you never know.
