Re: TVC 2018 SEASON

Eastern is the only team in the TVC anyone cares about. If you want people to talk, talk about the Eagles. Why, is Pam back coaching? If not, I don't see them doing much as they haven't since she left. Trimble has the talent to dominate. If they don't do it this year it's probably time to move on a...

Yea, but I bet he didn't pay for the field, and run the concessions for free!

Re: 2014 Rule Changes

Their will be a lot of unhappy fans this year. Coaches better take some extra time and emphasize fundamentals when it comes to tackling. I agree....it will be tough to make sure everyone understands this.....officials included! I agree with the part about officials. By and large they are bad in all...

Re: Historic SEOAL Stadiums

Trimble's softball stadium, "Null Field," is probably the only one in the state that was totally paid for by the coach.

Re: Umpires

Most umpires are terrible these days. One reason is some of the worst ones are teaching the classes. I started out taking the classes to get licensed. But once I figured out that I know a lot more than the instructor I quit going. What a joke.

Grace Edwards from Eastern. Meigs will have a ton of pitching this year. Wells ton always has good pitching. Huddleston from Southern is solid and they will also have Turley to throw some. I don't really know much about anyone else Pam always puts something together down at Eastern. By far the best...

Re: Tri Valley Conf. - Hocking

Easterns numbers are way down but they should still be the favorite Yes if Pam is still coaching and hiring the same 2 or 3 umpires for ever home game like she has for the last 20 years they should be the favorites at least when they are at home. Does that one really old guy that use to coach at Ea...

Re: Tri Valley Conf. - Hocking

Trimble should be in the mix this year. It is rumored that 28 girls are playing this year. Just a few short years ago they were getting 50+ to tryout and had to cut down to a JV and Varsity teams. It is a shame how far they have fallen. They do have enough talent though and should do really well, ma...

Coaches paying for stadiums???

Have any of you heard of any coaches who take money out of their pockets to build a state of the art field and stadium for the softball team? If so, and if the coach also has over 100 wins counting Jay Vee games, don't you think someone should nominate that coach for the school Athletic Hall of Fame...

Re: 2011 TVC-HOCKING

Going by early practices and other teams practices we have scouted looks like the Cats will be right in the thick of things. If The Broker can shake this danged bug he has been fighting things will really start rolling in Cat land. We are deeeeeppp this year. If the trick hip holds up 18 wins is a r...

Would be interested in hearing if you have any up and coming superstars from the area. We like to keep our eye on those good ones who may be looking for a dominate program.

For years Trimble has produced dominate pitchers under the tutleage of the current varsity coach. If she has a lot of talent will she be looking to move?

didnt put in for the job i hope you dont think current coach was the brains behind tims wins tim forgot more than the coach knows Yes that's what I'm saying. Tim won with talent. Re: Trimble Softball HC position open

That is a humorous perspective there Cats. Sorry you didn’t get the job pal. But I am confident that deep down you know the right person was rehired. Who else has the experience or accolades that the coach has, if I do say so myself? You spoke of Tim’s wins, but you left out the part that this c...

Go ahead and make fun now guys, but it is just jealousy of our field since it is the best one in the area. When we get the lights up it will be the best small school softball facility in the state. Oh and we will win the league this year, and the hall-of-fame is waiting for the winningest coach in s...

Re: Tri-Valley Conference League Standings (Week IV)

You are not going to win at Eastern. They are back to using the home town boys in blue. That is why they wont agree to an assigner. I think the fact Eastern girls have more talent might be why their winning. I don't think the boys in blue have anything to do with it. Some people just can't face rea...
