It was a good scrimmage for both teams. Not sure how they score scrimmages, but my count had the South Point 7th with 5 TD's and Oak Hill had two. I believe the 8th grades tied, but Oak Hills 8th had several good players and size to go with it. I liked the format with three 10:00 minute quarters and...

Nothing really stood out to me, but most things are so vanilla its hard to judge. However, Coal Grove fumbled three times in the first quarter (2 by Gunther and he was injured on the second one. Couldn't tell which, but couldn't put any weight on it. I hope it isn't anything seriou Steele last year....

Tickets are on sale at the Conley Center at the concession window for $8. I know they went on sale tonight at 7:00 PM, but I am not sure of the times for tomorrow and Wednesday.

According to the schedules I have seen, this game is at South Point.

South Point is now playing Grove City Christian in week two. Mt Carmel informed South Point a couple weeks ago that they were not coming down, and GCC had an opening after their week 2 game was cancelled.

Wheelersburg lost to Mt. Vernon tonight 17-14. Looks as though Wheelersburg had a 11-0 lead at some point before Mt. Vernon came back.

Looks like they lost their first game on Sunday to Dover 14-9. Then won in the loser's bracket against Tallmadge 13-8. They play the loser of Mt. Vernon & W. Hamilton tomorrow at 7:00 PM.
