River Valley and South Gallia tipped off this rivalry in grand style tonight. RV won in an overtime thriller before an absolute packed house. There were no problems just a ton of school spirit from both communities. I think the final was 79-75.

SG is at home in the up and down game! The Rebels sat its starters a lot of 2nd half (most of 4th). Big game next Saturday in a rematch of last years district semi-final vs. Portsmouth Notre Dame.

Always interesting storylines in this back yard brawl. I expect a very spirited game on both sides but have a feeling the Rebels will be too much for the Vikings. I wonder if SG will have all of its starters healthy?

I am betting SG and RV vote the same. I don't think SG would support it if RV was against it. If the league goes to 3 divisions and RV is assigned to the middle division and could almost guarantee that both RV and SG support it. If RV is assigned to the Ohio Division then all bets are off.
