Other than the obvious concession stand sales, why not just move the games elsewhere for a day? They could have played at Ironton today. I know with this weather pattern we are getting more rain at one location than others. Just a thought

I think it's different for different schools. If you are in a conference you can probably concentrate on winning early easier games and stay healthy for the conference. Less than 1% of all schools in Ohio win state titles every year. The goal should be to win the conference and hopefully go undefeat...

Many Catholic schools don't promote girls sports. This is nothing new. Revenue sports will always drive the train.

Fairland won't be huge in 10 years, yes, they will continue to get big earners running from taxes from west Virginia, but that has not and will not equate to athletic success. Fairland would win maybe one game in the current SEOAL.

The SOC and OVC combining into one conference makes more sense. They already play each other in many sports anyway.
