Re: St. Joe host Rock Hill tuesday 12/7
Tough loss for the Flyers. Down 21-0 to start the game, fought back to lead by 3 with 1.7 seconds when a kid from Rock Hill hit a big shot. Shots just wouldn't fall in OT.

Re: Marshall vs Western Carolina
im just talking about everyone hatin on marshall and their fans, just b/c brigham lost a game My "hatin on marshall and their fans" has absolutely nothing to do with the outcome of the game, but the way the fans acted. To be honest, I have disliked Marshall for the better part of 2 decade...

Re: Marshall vs Western Carolina
Game Recap The Dispatch says Mutumbo called timeout, but if you look at the replay on WSAZ (below) you can clearly see that he has the ball in one arm and he is waiving as in "no, no, no" with his other hand. My questions is, how was he calling timeout? Don't get me wrong, I don't doubt t...

Re: IRONTON 69 VS Peebles 68 - 2 OT - FINAL
Definately saved the best game for last and what a game!! Sorry it ended in such a way that the questionable officiating will remain in everyones memory. Fuzz Meister asked in another thread a question that I'm sure the great minds on Southernohiopreps can answer. When Malcom Morton #10 got fouled ...

Re: Ironton vs.OakHill round II
well i did state if they win they will play the oaks. I believe the oaks have already punched their ticket to state, no way will they lose to Ironton. granted they did play before and it was a 2 point game, however that was one of the Oaks worse game. I hope you have small feet....easier to get out...

I hope all those Oak Hill posters were correct in saying that the road to the state title goes through them!!

Re: Mayo investigation could affect Ironton's runner-up status
IMO, regardless of whether it was "fair" or not NCH is the state champ from that year. Ironton had a great year but they were runners-up(which is a spetactular achievement). Even if the OHSAA make NCH take down the banners they will still be state champs. Lots of people know that Africent...

Re: ST. JOE AT ROCKHILL 12/8
I seem to recall that Ironton dropped all county schools from their hoops schedule when they joined the SEOAL. If memory serves we continued to play only South Point from the county schools. I will ask at the next Ironton game. How many times have St. Joe and Ironton squared off? I remember taking ...

Re: ST. JOE AT ROCKHILL 12/8
Just kind of curious....will Rock Hill ever consider stepping up their competition? I'm not trying to get on them, but they are a pretty good sized school, but they continue to play St. Joe?? This is a good friendly competition between two local schools. Generally, these games are pretty close. Roc...

Re: ST. JOE AT ROCKHILL 12/8
Carmen, who is it that you folllow that has such a great schedule in southern Ohio? Actually, I follow St. Joe, so that "answer" to my question doesn't really work....everyone we play is bigger than us I know St. Joe and Rock Hill have had some battles in the past, but that's not my questi...

Can't wait to see Princeton and Oak Hill. Princeton has Jordan Sibert. He is a 6-4 SG (#18 rivals.com) who has committed to Ohio State as part of their #1 ranked class of 2010.

Re: South Points next coach
Chris' oldest son Brice graduated this year and will be playing at the next level. His middle son, Blake, will be a junior this upcoming year and will probably be one of the better players in the area. He has competed at the D-1 varsity level the past two years as a freshman and sophomore so he has ...

Re: Ironton @ Chesapeake
My only question is whether Coach Lafon will run offense that will allow Lamb to get touches? I've been to several Ironton games this year and the only time Lamb seems to get the ball is when he rebounds it. Case in point, the Russell game. Coach Lafon allowed "certain" players to do spinn...
