Re: SEOAL-2008-Updates
Noreply the three county schools Jackson, Wellston and Oak Hill compete, it kind of died out for awhile and is now being revived. There used to be a trophies that were circulated among the winners and they kept it until they lost it in the next competition. It was kind of like the old oak bucket dea...

Re: Jackson Shot and Disc
Both Jackson's boys and girls move up to Division I this year. The girls are 3 girls over the Division II cut off and the boys not much more probably. Big difference in the competition come the District and the Regional. That really sucks! The SEOAL is one of the toughest throwing leagues in the sta...

Orange and Brown if you go on w there is something that might be helpful that you can use in converting a kids standing throw to the range of what their full throw should be, might be helpful in setting some goals. The closer they are to the predicted upper range of distance the better the technique...

I dont think the sky is falling for the original SEOAL members , Jackson, Logan, Gallia Academy, Marietta, Warren are not going anywhere. Chillicothe couldnt be happier with their situation. So Chillicothe takes the place of Athens with the original members and then Ironton and Portsmouth have to do...

James really didnt throw well in the League Meet, that 141 was low for him. But he went on to throw 159 feet in the discus last year, won the Division II District at Oak Hill and went on to place 4th in the State Meet in Division II. I would think he will throw farther this year. He has a lot of pot...

Thats the first I have ever heard of Jackson sending representatives to the TVC. Im not disputing what you have said, Im just saying that is the first I have ever heard of it. Years ago there was a little interest in the SOC II and the league Hillsboro is in, those leagues really didnt want Jackson ...

What I find interesting is that Jackson when this expansion of the league started was the one dissenting vote against the expansion. All that Athens would have had to do was vote no, they didnt and now they are not part of the league. I would venture to say that at some point the people in Warren ha...
