i think the catcher should always have some say...no one on the team knows how good a pitchers stuff is beter than the catcher. after all, he has to catch it

does anyone know if these games will be telivised like they do for football and basketball? i hope it is on television.....party at my house!!!!

i remember back in my high school days, just 10 years ago when the daily times worked with coaches to post players stats every couple weeks in the sunday paper showing league leaders. i sure wish that would be brougt back. i enjoyed seeing how the top players from each school were doing statisticly.

did you all get a team together? i would like to see some scores if this team is playing

they do have a few other kids to fill the lineup that dont play for burg. lol

He has done a great job with these kids. it helps to have confident players, though young, they know what they are capable of on the field. look for them to start rolling over the competition for the next 2-3 years years at least. they are loaded with very talented freshmen and sophmores.

Congrats to Taylor. it was a shot. he is one of those kids who have the power but always seems to just miss the pitch and not get it out there. you could see he was excited rounding 2nd, but he didnt want to celebrate too much....very sportsman like, all around GREAT Kid....clumbsy, but GREAT kid lol

LMAO!!!!! it is nice when your last starter ( on paper ) is still good enough to be expected to come away with a win. not to mention a good offence for run support to help pick up a pitcher when they are down

i have seen him pitch a couple times. he is a good pitcher. nothing to hold your breath over, but he is good

i hope it will put a little more of a spot light on southern ohio baseball. seems like our area gets skipped over year after year. not trying to make anyone angry, but i get sick of hearing about all the talent in gallia and surrounding counties. we have it right here in scioto county as well

to me coach Estep is a genius for not giving out info. just means he gets to make a sneak attack on teams deep in the tourney that have no knowledge of who they beat to get their wins

the game with greenup will be awesome. i havent seen them play this year but they have by far in my opinion the best baseball program around, starting from little league up. them kids know how to play.

with 8 seniors it makes me wonder what will happen next year. i know they will have 2 awesome jr's next season, but they will be loosing a lot of talent

that is a great story and i wouldent expect anything less from any kids in our area on any team if the situation unfolded.
