i dunno if they still have it or not, but south shore used to have a realy competitive fall league for boys ages 9-13, maybe even younger. teams from all over went there to play doubleheaders on saturdays and sundays. realy good experience, and not far to go. i think they played 12 game seasons

the first game of the year is almost always a blow out in minfords favor. i am glad they dont open with piketon this year though

i grew up in south webster, didnt get to play football but had friends from minford, married a minford girl and go to 90% of their games every year. i dont look for them to have a bad year at all. just gotta be ready each week, play it game by game. but watch out when webster comes to town on a frid...

i was told by a friend that mt. vernon realy didnt play all that well, wheelersburg just had the worst game they have had durring the tournament. they will hopefully bounce back well

Gene needs to get out to more high school games. for the past 10 years ive seen so many kids drafted from the area and the reds are clueless about the talent. where was gene when josh newman was dominating in southern ohio???? sitting in the air conditioning id say.
