Burg played without 3 starters during the game against Hiland and another starter was sick and did not have anything left the 2nd half. Sure the outcome would have been the same but score may have been a little different. Hiland has a great team. Congrats to Burg on a great season. TribeManiac10.......

rocky..... burg had a player go out around that time also with a straight red card. They played down a man most of the 2nd half. Can't contend with many teams playing down a man, especially a team like south webster.

socman.....Lewis did have a shot that bounced off the cross bar before his goal the first half and Hughes had a break away ....however not sure his shot was on goal. Waverly definitely outshot Burg and Ethan Nichols had a fantastic game. Kept Burg in the game all night.

If many of our players were good at creating space and getting open, then you would see our southern ohio teams make a further run in the tournament. Cost of Bus trips and cost of coaches I would guess socman. I know this has been the reason at a few local schools.

It's probably going to get much worse in Southern Ohio due to the lack of U15 rec league programs in the county. Only a few schools were able to field quality teams and several schools didn't even have enough kids to make a team. I think it has to start at this rec league level and hope to keep the ...
