Re: Week 1 ~ Gallia Academy @ Athens

I personally wish GAHS would never play Athens again. Not so much because they are supposed "cupcakes", but they obviously don't care about "long standing" rivalries. I guess the pounding that Logan takes from The Gales will better prepare them for the playoffs, being how it is t...

That would be trouble anyway, since the girls volleyball program is in the gym this week... :)

Second best would be fine if there is more than two teams there.

Were there more than two, and if so, who were they?

Man, BBallin, how I hope you are right! I think if coach matches offense to players, and not players to offense, we will be ok. ;-)

THATS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU INVITE THE REAL BEASTS OF THE SOUTHEAST BACK INTO THE SEOAL. ----------------------------------- THE IRONTON FIGHTING TIGERS ARE BACK IN A BIG WAY NOW, AFTER A COUPLE YEARS OF MEDIOCRE FOOTBALL. THEY ARE BUILT NOW FOR THE LONG HAUL. NOBODY WANTS TO DEAL WITH THAT YEAR IN...

Re: An Early Look at the SEOAL: The 2008 GAHS Blue Devils

Yes, the Devils will be young this year, but to predict them at 3-7 just seems a bit out of line to me. I certainly don't think that they will be winless in the SEOAL this year. It would be a mistake to take them lightly, I think. Who are the scrimmages against this year, and what is the final word ...

8 hour work day? when did that happen? lol I put in way more than that. Bottom line is Gallia County is getting 3 new high schools! Unions are fine unless they pull the crap that I put up with when working for Ohio University. We couldn't even plug in the TV monitors in at the Convo unless someone ...

Re: An Early Look at the SEOAL: The 2008 GAHS Blue Devils

The Devils may return to a winning season, but not by much. Looking at the enemic non-league schedule, they will no doubt romp to lopsided wins there, embarassing themselves in the process. But when the league starts, a butt kicking awaits. Look for an at best finish of 6-4, which may let them slid...

You're right 7462. I'll bet he could even run one all the way from Mill Creek, down Sunset, even past Sycamore St. I remember walking over to Ermans (sp?) Market on Saturday mornings to get the Herald-Dispatch just to read the write-ups on that great team. :-D

Shocker! Not at all impressed with his play at Athens this year. Who is pulling the strings at UK? :?
