Re: D4 R15 Semifinal: Ironton (7-4) vs. Johnstown-Monroe (11
Not trying to make excuses, but when you have such a large region and Ironton is located on the southern tip of Ohio doesn't it seem you guys always might have to travel a bit more? If you were the higher seed how far would Johnstown had to travel? Probably Jackson which would be about the opposite...

Its really hard to develop a kicker without a soccer program! Looks like Ironton will have to score more than enough to make this kicker issue a non factor! GO TIGERS

I-30, AC-24. The seniors on this Tiger team have a ton of playoff experience, playing in the Reginal Finals in the revious two seasons, this will help as the tigers try and make another deep playoff run. Not including the Ashland game i dont recall the Tigers having turnover problems on a dry field,...

Re: Week 10 [3-6] Portsmouth @ [5-4] Ironton
Ironton by 20, I see some starters espically the ones nursing injuries to play limited minutes after the first drive or so of the third. Portsmouth gets a few late cheap ones after the Tigers pull their starters.

Re: Week 10 [3-6] Portsmouth @ [5-4] Ironton
If Portsmouth limits there mistakes it will be close. Spread the field and they might just beat Ironton! If Portsmouth relies on one receiver Ironton will eat Portsmouth up fast. Took Logan too long to do that and they had to play catch up. Ironton scout caught that real quick last Friday night and...

Re: IRONTON 28 VS Simon Kenton KY 20 - 10/21 - FINAL
Big win for the Tigers all but locking up a playoff birth. The promising thing is the Tigers have played much tougher competetion in the regular season than they will see throughout the region. Hopeing the banged up Tigers can get to 100% and make another deep playoff run.

Re: Week 8 Ironton @ Columbus Bishop Hartley
Game day prediction: Tigers-22 Harltey-17 Ironton is more than ready for this one. I think the Tigers will be very dynamic tonight with a more big plays than we have seen this season. The line made a huge improvement fromk week 6 to week 7, i look for the line to continue to play well. If thats the ...

Re: Week 8 Ironton @ Columbus Bishop Hartley
Not sure if i can predict a score, but Ironton will not play like thay have dropped the last two games that is forsure. Many of these kids were on the field for both Hartley games last year this means a few things. A since of familiarity with the opposition, Ironton had succes against Harltey with c...

Re: RUSSELL RED DEVILS VS. IRONTON FIGHTING TIGERS, THOUGHTS
Speed will be the difference tonight. Both teams tough and physical, I see Hager having a big night 3 possibly 4 scores! He is a powerback with speed and if your going to play 9 in the box him among the other backs will take advantage and turn in big plays all night. With speed being the key tonight...

Re: Ironton Football 2011
Ironton kids know how to run and run block, thats what they learn from day one in biddy leauge. Irontons running attack is more potent than there passing attack every year, i know when Mark Lutz was quaterback passing was more apart of the offense because Ironton had capable recievers with a good qu...
