Re: Rock hill basketball
Watch out OVC. Rock hill is going to win this conference. They have the biggest and baddest player in the OVC he goes by the name Sam Cooke. . money, just wondering if you might be Sam Cooke's little brother .............. It would be impossible for Sam Cooke to have a little brother because Sam is...

Re: OVC after the Dust Settles
Fairland still maintains an edge with Hatfield... if he plays within himself he is very dangerous and has some speed with him... the Dragons will miss their inside presence with Lamb and especially Bumgardner... the later being a beast on the boards... Chesy has some good coaching it seems and you w...

OVC after the Dust Settles
With Lamb gone from Fairland and Mayo from South Point and several coaches into their 3rd season (the one which many look for the evidence that the program is headed in the right direction)... who are the teams to beat and why? What (not who) will be the difference makers with your team? Who are the...

Re: OVC Scores and Standings
Congrats to Fairland... they deserve the title... well disciplined and well coached team... their pitcher tonight was in total command of his pitches and kept the Redmen guessing all night. Best of luck to all of the OVC teams in the post season... Again, congratulations Fairland on an undisputed le...

ROCK HILL's DAVENPORT SIGNS With CEDARVILLE UNIVERSITY
Rock Hill's Nate Davenport has decided to play baseball in college and has accepted a baseball scholarship from Cedarville University. ROCK HILL 17 RIVER VALLEY 2 (in 5 innings)
Malone gets the win... Mitch Davenport the save... Nate Davenport hit a Grand Slam to top off a 10 run first inning... few walks... the Redmen are scorching the ball.

Re: South Gallia-Rock Hill Scrimmage???
After a slow start Rock Hill dominated the game. Offensively they looked strong. Pitching needs to improve... better control, hit your spots, stay ahead in count. Defensively very solid as well. If pitching can improve they will be tough, otherwise it will be a long season... Good pitching coach in ...

Re: Rock Hill Baseball
Rock Hill will compete, but I don't see them winning the league. Fairland will win the league this year. Opinion! When will Rock Hill get there field in shape should be the question? 4 or 5 year on the new field, as nice as it is, it should be even nicer on the playing surface. Concrete is the firs...

Re: Coaches All District 13
They will not release it until all teams have finished in the tourny. I was told the game is Monday 10th w/ Girls @6:00 pm, Slam Dunk and 3-Point Contest, then the boys game after that... should be a fun evening!

Re: Rock Hill Baseball
Based on last year and some of the returners I would say the pitching rotation would look something like Turley (Jr), DePreist (Sr.), D. Kuehne (Sr.), N. Davenport (Sr.), Malone (So.), M. Davenport (So.), with some spot work by S. Kuehne and Zornes. Position wise based soly on how things finished up...

After looking at some of the teams that I'm familiar with that Peebles has played this season... and the results of those games... I will have to go with Ironton... Peebles is playing better but Ironton seems to be comfortable with their system and LaFon seems to be very comfortable in his managment...

There are a lot of future community leaders in that group. I agree and thank you usahockey1980 for starting this thread. I would love to know what their plans are after HS... I know most all plan to pursue college degrees in such fields as the Medical Doctor, Teacher/Coach, Physical Therapy, Naval A...

I am going with the Tigers in this one!!! I just think their strength of schedule is really going to get them far compared to some of the other teams schedules.. Coach Lafon will bring the win come Friday night I have to agree with Dukiees... The tiger wave will over power the pointers... they are ...

The Redmen worked hard but it was only a matter of time with the constant wave of quality subs Ironton was sending in. They had a great game plan. We played man-to-man early and it took alot out of us as the game wore on... we chased them all over the court and it caught up to us in the 3rd and 4th....

Ironton has the advantage in a running game... Rock Hill if it turns into a half court game... I believe it will come down to which team controls the tempo. Quickness vs. Length... However Rock Hill is shooting well on the season from beyond the arc... it seems to open up when we establish ourselves...
