Re: U.S. Open 2008??

Hey i am a Tiger fan and root him on all the way when he plays. unfortunatley for the sport it is not enough times in a year to draw attention to the game every week. That being the major difference b/w Jack and Tiger, Jack played nearly every week and was almost always in the top ten and usually ei...

Re: FRESHMAN AT SOUTH GALLIA FOR 08

bd, your cousins are good athletes and very coachable kids. the Blue sure could use Jacob in the future and he may just get used to GA and decide not to go to SG but regardless I will be watching and cheering him on. I will go on record as saying that he will be the best fb player ever at SG if he d...

Re: Help an old canadian friend out :)

stm#61, how did the game with st eds go?? I can assure that they will not be as good as them, up down rebuilding or under any circumstances. It really makes no difference what st ed's team you played either. Johnson central will be good, no doubt and i have no clue of your team's expectations but ju...

Re: Pryor Joins the Buckeyes Looking Ripped and Ready

Wow, kids that age don't usually shrink. Kinda makes you question this 4.3 forty time now. Hopefully we don't sell out everytime he gets on the field like we did with Tedd Ginn b/c imho we hindered the plays that could be made by restricting and under utilizing the diversity of Ginn's athletic abitl...

U.S. Open 2008??

Anyone following the Open this year?? Silly question. Hey i know that all the commentators are ready to dub tiger as the best of all time and he is the best I have witnessed in his prime but one stat yesterday put things into perspective for me. Nicklaus has 73 major tournament top tens, 18 wins and...

Re: Your Schools All-Time Starting 5

Mr. Milhoan was truely a beast. I played gold for him in 1989 and he was still the best shooter ever at GA. He could hit that behind the back throw over the backboard shot at least 60% of the time in 1989. To back up what 4ever said about the 63 point game, my dad was at the game and the funny part ...

Re: Ironton: 2005 State Champions?

Ya know with the way Ironton played against them and considering they are a public school with a roster made up of local kids, they have no reson to say they own the state champ trophy. That team accomplished a heck of alot and needs no trophy to show off. NCH was a "dream team" type team ...

Re: FRESHMAN AT SOUTH GALLIA FOR 08

MMD, just heard the other day that Jacob was planning on attending SG for 7th grade. Who knows though could be just another rumor but this was a GAHSer that told me that. Regardless, I have gotten to know Jacob the past couple of years and he is a true talent and at least 3 years ahaed of his class ...

Re: TP the next TEBOW?

I know it won't happen but in an interview even TP's hs coach advised him to not let tOSU coaches see him playing "d" or they just might leave him there. I know he wants to be the QB and will not play any "d", just offering a different point of view. I do think the possibility of...

Re: An Early Look at the SEOAL: The 2008 Chillicothe Cavaliers

All i said was the teams i have seen from Sheridan have not been that dominant by any means and i know they had a large amount of success the year we went to ot with them after giving them a td and playing dead in the first half with half our lineup as sophomores, still not a butt kicking. I agree t...

Re: An Early Look at the SEOAL: The 2008 Chillicothe Cavaliers

Wow!! As an outsider and a Blue Devil fan i really have no stake in this conversation or arguement but I will chime in just a little. A few years back the Devils played Sheridan in the playoffs and had a very exciting game that went to OT and eventually the Generals beat my Devils. TOs cost the Blue...

Re: TP the next TEBOW?

Any chance he will play another position or strictly QB?? He was the #1 DE and the #1 db prospect in the country. WR?? If played in the "shotginn" formation he could add another dimension due to being able to throw the ball some?? Tebow's size allowed him to play on 3rd and short and in di...

Re: Tank Stadium

I like the atmosphere at the Tank but that is just Ironton football. The fans create atmosphere. I have never had any problems with parking or seating. The only problem I have seen other than officiatiing is the dips and knolls in the field especially, like another poster said, in the end zones. Of ...

I played with a girl from Fairland back in the day and she was a pretty good player. She played the same tees that we played. She actually played one for Fairland in the early nineties.

Re: 2008 High School Golf Season

Yes, Jim Pope will be missed. He was a good coach that worked hard with the kids and was also a very positive influence in their lives. Good luck to Coach Luce, you have a good group of kids for your initial season and an upcoming team that should be much improved this year. Good luck Devils!!

Re: ESPN All Access: Ohio State Buckeyes

Sorry about the typo on the week 2/3 thing. The verdict is still out on the USC/FL comparison, only time will tell. That Florida team was not as dominant as we allowed them to look. Well coached but talent wise we have played better teams. Thing that scares me is that USC will have more pototypical ...

Re: FRESHMAN AT SOUTH GALLIA FOR 08

Matney's have a cousin coming up into the 7th grade and SG should hope he stays interested in fb and keeps working, Jacob White. Easily the strongest kid i have seen at the lower level and other than Tony logan he is the fastest. Great coachable kid with a killeer instinct and a nose for the ball. I...

Re: ESPN All Access: Ohio State Buckeyes

Buckeye fans need to stand proud and know that to play the title game is much better than to watch from home. tOSU has had chances to win titles in back to back seasons and have improved in those contests which is a testemant to coaching. '07's team got outcoached and embarrassed and wasn't ready to...
