Re: What are the TVC Ohio Teams Home Courses?

Athens used th CC back in the day but it may be changed. We always played on a Monday b/c the course was closed for maintenance but things could have easily changed in the last several years. Athens CC has some very tough Openlike rough so if it is there then watch that golfball b/c if it goes in th...

Re: Russell vs Ironton 09 IT'S ON

no contest, no comparison, blowout or at leat a physical beating. no disrespect intended but Kentucky football isn't Ohio football. Good luck to both teams this year. I-town is back on the rise again and should see at least a few years of success based on thier lower level teams.

Re: (coaches) a chain is as strong as its weakest link.

Good post warrior but one thing that i am not totally in agreement with is the thing about coaches who quit a sport or never played at all. I also think that sometimes coaches are hired b/c of their credentials developed while playing not coaching. Coaching and playing are very very different and so...

Re: osu wants to be like the UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE!

Yeah volsfan like the Outback Bowl or Cotton Bowl. I thought they retired football in Tennessee after Peyton left. I like the idea of the OSU village, they call it Columbus right now. I guess since Tennessee's is so popular that NOBODY even knew it existed that it really doesn't matter where the ide...

Re: ND just asked to get beat!!!!!

It's funny to hear all the WVU fans hate on RR and most of theMichigan faithful love him. As a Buckeye fan I will say this much, RR is a player developer, at WVU he did develop a very potent offense with the right personnel however he did get beat by mediocre teams from time to time. I would also ag...

Re: Ironton Tiger now a Youngstown State Penguin

Wondered if/where he went to college. Watched my Devils get beat by those darn Tigers and came away very impressed with Andy, of course the last name was easy to remember being that he played at Ironton and seemed ironic to me to be named Colegrove. Andy was a beast. Congratulations and good luck, m...

Re: Word on RV basketball

Good luck to coach Stout. Hard to rationalize why yet another program passed up on some great local coaches. Ryan does a wonderful job and is already in the system. Coach Sheets is already at the school. Coach Harrison is a good coach and probably still a better player than anyone he has ever coache...

Good post bleeding red.

Mickelson is awfully inconsistant at times but some other players may gain confidence and momentum too. Sucks for the Ryder Cup, we need a win bad this year and Tiger sure helps those chances.

goin with mrs koolaid on this one. haven't seen any of the other backs yet but Jacob is a beast. stats are true concerning the 4.8 forty time and that was with his arm in a heavy splint recovering from a broken arm that resulted in him not participating in conditioning drills. the 210 thing i haven'...

Re: gallipolis jr. high wrestling

I have heard Brandon is a tremendous wrestler. Coached both of these kids in football, of course Brandon is 2 years older, at least in school years so the comparison so far is kind of a moot point but to have them on the same team would be awesome. I would be willing t bet that Jacob is as strong as...

I coach a youth team and we spend the first couple weeks of practice teaching kids form tackling in a very slow step by step drill before we allow the to attemtp to make a tackle in motion much less at full speed. We teah facemask in the belly button but stress head up and look for closed eyes. Stre...

Gallia on the girls side. Should be mostly the same girls with a couple additions with incoming freshman. They had a very solid season and alot of success however, I don't think these girls were satisfied with the way the season finished.

Re: X GA Blue Angel Coach Lands New Coaching Job.

I agree with that totally, I coached a little team with Elcessor several years ago and in the process of coaching I learned alot about a game i grew up playing. I also learned alot about coaching. E is a great x's and o's coach but is equally good at handling the complete job of coaching. His experi...

Yeah Jacob was an Elk. Good luck Jacob!! Hopefullythey put a line in front of him and let him carry the load. Gonna be lots of Elks running around on Memorial for the next several years. I agree with mrs koolaid, with him on the field i would also guarantee a good year for the 7th grade team, one ki...

Re: Pryor Joins the Buckeyes Looking Ripped and Ready

This kid was supposed to be the most highly recruited kid we have landed, not a TS type player that did very little until his senior year. We can't wait on him to be ready. My whole point was that we have been sold on this kid and evidentally have been sold some "oceanfront property in Ohio&quo...

Re: Antonio Henton May Be Transferring

From watching the spring game and knowing the upside to Bauserman I would guess that Henton would have been third at best and with Pryor coming in he may have even been on the scout team. What 3rd year player wants to QB the scouts against our "d"? Bauserman is the backup at this point due...

Okay last posts just a little harsh considering that Tiger is out for the year with more than one injury. Hopefully he comes back quick and just as healthy as ever b/c whether or not he is better than Jack or Ben or Sam doesn't really matter, removing the best player inthe game from the sport hurts ...

I have heard nothing but great things about this kid from the Gallia parents and players that have played against him and after seeing that picture it looks like he works really hard in t...
