It may not sound like much but when you look at the larger numbers it could be a divergence maker.

I don't think Ironton will over look Oak Hill that being said I think Ironton is just to talented and deep this year.
Can they be beat yes will they lose this one I don't believe so but that is why they play the game for to see who is better.

I agree you can't use the Burg Ironton game as a gage. One it was the first tourney game for Ironton 2 Burg had nothing to lose by going all out and 3 Ironton played fairly reserved in my opinion. Oak Hill will stall but will matter little MF tried to stall to but Ironton's Defense was up to the task.
This is a very good and balanced Ironton team and will be very hard to beat

Ironton is playing very well Martains ferry is stunned at this Tiger team.

I look to see Ferry slow the game down to a crawl.
And Ironton want to push it if Ferry falls behind early I can see them going away from their size to try to equal Ironton's speed factor.

They are big that is for sure question is are they quick and athletic ?
Ironton has some speed and the whole Ironton group is ridiculously Athletic.

Portsmouth was beginning of the year and players still getting in basketball shape.
Burg was the playoffs and played stall ball with nothing to lose but still lost.
Look at the Ironton and Portsmouth game the second time around and it was not even close.

I Agree Ironton has played a schedule this year just for this.
But they do have a long road to win it all and I believe they have the team the chemistry and the coach to do just that.

Like to see the young man go Div I no doubt he could play at that level.
Like to see him come out west to New Mexico St and I could have the honor of watching him the next 4 years.
