Re: West Virginia Thunder Girls Hoops
Larry - That's an awesome accomplishment. I know you have to be very proud of these girls and it says a lot about your WV Thunder organization. This has been an amazing group of young ladies and what's really impressive is how long they've stayed together. Good luck with your other teams the rest of...

Re: Portsmouth @ Ironton DH (4/3)
Ironton 10 Portsmouth 9 How did Coach Tipton take that? I bet he was just a little vocal on that one!! Bases loaded for Portsmouth in the bottom of the 7th. The batter hit the catchers glove and knocked it off his hand injuring the catcher for a minute. Should have been catcher interference all run...

Re: American legion state baseball tournament
I was "kind of" involved with a pretty successful American Legion team for nine seasons back in the 1990's and had several kids that went to high D-I universities and many others who went to low D-I schools. Many others went on to college at other levels and a couple even got drafted. We w...

Re: Tom Metters in need of prayers
Great to hear that Tom is doing better. He is one of the class guys in all of southeastern Ohio and his love of his school sports is very apparent in conversations with him over the years whether it be for the District/Regional basketball tournaments, high school baseball/softball tournaments, or th...

Re: Ironton 60 VS PORTSMOUTH 63- 2/20 - FINAL
A Portsmouth and Peebles District semi-final game could turn out to be a dandy if both teams advance through the Sectional.

Re: When do cheerblocks go to far?
At the boys state tournaments over the years the cheerblocks for schools such as Cincinnati Moeller, Cincinnati Elder, and Cincinnati St. Xavier have always been a lot of fun to watch.

Re: Any top middle school teams that want a quality game???
It might be the Huntington St. Joe JV junior high team. They group all their kids together in WV at the Middle School level and then if they have enough girls left over for a second team they consider that their "B" team, or jv team.

Re: Prayers for Peebles PG Andy Countryman
Thoughts and prayers go out to Andy and his family in this difficult time. What a great kid this young man is and I'm sure his dad had to be very proud of him. Hang in there and you've got some terrific teammates who have and will be there for you.

Re: Peebles High School- What will the South Point game bring?
pfloyd Hey, that was me who introduced myself to you after the game by the Pointer bench. You are dead on with your comments about the game as it was a great game to watch. The Pointers were down at one time 31-17 late in the second quarter but closed it to 10 at the half before making their run in ...

Re: SE District Division 3 Tournament Assignments/Records
MOF The Peebles game you are referring to against Manchester is actually wrong on the C-103 web-site. Peebles won the game over Manchester by 31 points by the score of 59-28. The Lady Indians also won on Thursday night against Whiteoak so their record is 6 - 6. Also, the MIT stands for the McDonald'...

Zollo and Kentucky are no longer an item. There was a mutual decision that it would be in his best interests to look elsewhere. The last I heard is that Akron was a possible destination for this junior.
