Fisher Catholic is down 7-0 just minutes into the game

Newark Catholic playoff chances rest on this week. If they beat Johnstown, they're looking at a 3 or 4 seed. If they lose, they're looking at a 8,9 or 10 seed. I'm hoping NC will win but I believe Johnstown will win.

It's going to be closer than some of the predictions. I'm going to pick NC in a close one. I'm not counting NY out, a few bounces their way and they can win.

According to the forecast there should be great weather for some good baseball.

Wow, not a lot of chatter about this game. I know from being on the site for the last couple years Trimble fans are usually pretty chatty. I'll stick with my earlier prediction that this should be a real close game.

Drews fantastic 50 from jjhuddle has NC as a 4 point favorite.

I'm still saying it's going to be a close game. Close calls, a bad bounce and a couple of excellent plays will decide it.

I say neither team will run away with it.

Sheridan seems like a great site. A little closer for NC but pretty fair. The only other choice would be New Lex but from what I understand NL didn't put in to host any playoff games.
The game should be close, in the score and the play. I just hope NC can pull it out.

The "Big TV" at Zanesville's stadium is the score board. I went and watched Rosecrans play River. Several times they used it like a strobe light, my son said he hoped no one there had epilepsy.

Newark Catholic has decent team this year, with some talent. I would have to say they should be one of the favorites along with Danville but both can definitely be beat.

Rescheduled to Saturday at noon. Electric issues Friday night at sugatgrove.
