Re: SEOAL RECORDS--GIRLS
The 4X8, 4X4, 400, and 1600 could also be broken, but you never know what each girl HAS to run to get the most points. Gallia girls could very well go sub-4 min in the 4X4 and I would bet maybe Chilly could too. I think the winning 4X8 time will be sub 9:40.

Re: Question for Gallia Academy XC past and present
I didn't want to post anything because I knew I wouldn't be totally accurate, but Peyton said her coach treats that block as if running 800 meters.

Re: Have 10 year old who wants to run XC, but where?
AAU/USATF clubs have their own websites that might have some info on them. A couple of clubs that my kids ran on were Capital City Striders (I think info on that club is on runwv.com and this club is out of Charleston), or Miami Valley Track Club (probably closer to you). The Ohio Middle School XC M...

I'm assuming it was Stepney. I saw a write-up about the accident in the newspaper. Does anyone know how he is doing? Prayers from a Gallia household.

Meigs beat Belpre 49-37 in the first round of Sectional play that year. Also Meigs beat Belpre 42-33 in a regular season contest.

Re: Southeast Districts @ Rio Grande
I think that the girls races were at least 30 secs slow. Of course it would depend on what kind of runner you were.....whether you were a mudder or could run in very cold and windy conditions. The boys races were probably 20 secs slow. At least it wasn't as muddy as the Invite, but it was still muddy.

Re: 2009 SEOAL
Congrats to Marietta girls for a well-deserved win. I knew it would be close between GA and MHS as it almost always is........GA loses on the tie-breaker. Good luck to the Tigers as they move on to Districts!!

Re: SEOAL runners
Walked the course last night. There has been some changes. First of all, don't even bring a watch....you won't need it. If it stays the same, it is by far the most difficult course our team has run on. They've added a water crossing. The packet says it's 15 feet......it's maybe 15 yards or more. It ...

Re: SEOAL runners
My predictions: Boys: Wesel, Fobes, Cochran, Monroe, Wittekind Girls: Adkins, Garrison, Hacker, McCorkle, Warner Team Boys: Marietta Team Girls: Gallia (I know Marietta has better times, but GA top 5 have been pretty sick and all are finally healthy this week) Chilly has a pretty tough course (not a...

Congrats to Madison Holley from Gallia
Good job Madison for your win at the Geico Classic at Cabell Midland. Madison set a course record by running the 3314M course in 13:15 against 162 competitors. She will most likely be one of the top contenders for the jr high XC SEOAL crown.

Re: 9/1 chillicothe home meet results
I don't think the course was too rough. Probably need to get rid of the path with the BIG rocks in it......and the sideway hills. Other than that....I think the Chilly coach did a good job. I think there were a few guys and gals that ran tempo runs so maybe the times were a little off.

Re: 2009 SEOAL
OK runhalle....I'm ready to answer your question....I'm going with GA because Barnes has decided to run XC as well as K Jackson and B Close and a few others who've decided to come back to the dark side...."conditioning" is looking promising, and camp is in a couple of weeks. Team chemistry...

Re: 2009 SEOAL
It's a little early, but since "conditioning" has already started, and I have nothing else better to do......my preseason favorites are Boys-Marietta and up til about a week ago, I would've chosen Marietta for the girls, but now I'm going with Gallia. SEOAL race is at Chilly this year, cor...
