Hope this regional gets moved. It's simply not fair to make the southeast teams travel that far every year. It needs to rotate. By reading other track & field sites, it appears that Byesville had YET ANOTHER timing issue problem this year. THAT'S A SURPRISE!! Happens almost every year up there. ...

A couple of years ago, Gallia was 2nd in the league and was State Runner-up.

SE Div 2 records are strictly from Oak Hill. I don't know what happened to the district records when the meet was at Fairland for all of those years. Would be nice to include them also.

Adkins was only able to run 1 event due to an injury and Barnes was coming off an injury and wasn't able to go all out. There was no way they were going to beat Chilly or Marietta, but maybe could've got Warren for 3rd.

Congrats to the Blue Angels on their 17th consecutive District Championship as well as the Devils championship. Several district records were broken by this group and good luck to you as you travel to Meadowbrook next week!!

^^^That is the problem I have with the All-League honors. It goes on what an athlete does on that one day. You could potentially be a state record holder in 4 events, be sick on league day and not be able to run...and therefore not be named All-League.

Why wouldn't Gallia hold the league meet next year? 7 teams, 8 places ??? I think we're all smart enough to realize who this helps.

I was just on the AAU website, looks like Marietta will be hosting the Southern Ohio District meet on June 19th (ACT testing is on June 11th). Does anyone know if the Steeplechase will be an event at this meet?

The Rotarys Meet was cancelled. They got the 4X1600M in and a few field events but I heard they will continue it on Wednesday.

It's a shame that Gallia doesn't recognize indoor track.....they would have several qualifiers, but instead, will send ZERO athletes to the state meet. Good luck to those SE runners that get to compete.
