So much for travel concerns - the PAC schools dominated B1G championships in first year
After a full year of play in all sports, it's safe to say all the talk of travel having an effect on play turned out to be nothing. Oregon and UCLA won more B1G Championships this year than any other school in the conference. Oregon won 8 championships, and UCLA won 7. USC won 3 and Washington won ...

B1G Bowl Game Predictions
What are your prediction for the B1G Bowl Games? 9 B1G Schools (and all 4 new members) received bowl invites, for a total of 13 teams. There could be a total of 14 games, depending on the results of the CFP Semifinals. I've included the new western flank below: College Football Playoff: Rose Bowl G...

Re: USC and UCLA to join B1G as early as 2024 season
Oregon and Washington are on standby waiting to see what Notre Dame decides to do. How big will this get? Since the media payouts will be off the charts, I'm wondering at this point if it makes the most sense to increase conference games from 9 to 10? It will provide more top games for TV and it wi...

Re: Next round of conference realignment happening
And I saw into the future. It’s being reported that the MAC could add Western Kentucky and Middle Tennessee by the end of this week. https://amp.courier-journal.com/amp/6236739001 While WKU and MTSU may not move the needle nationally, they have won more CUSA titles in all sports since 2014 than any...

Re: Next round of conference realignment happening
I wonder if it would be worth anything for the MAC to make a move to add Western Kentucky and Middle Tennessee? They would both add to the footprint in a reasonable way and both would be competitive in most sports, especially men’s basketball.

Re: Next round of conference realignment happening
It’s being reported the the Sun Belt will add 4 schools, 3 from Conference USA: Marshall, Old Dominion and Southern Mississippi. The fourth school is FCS school James Madison, which is moving up to FBS. It’s also being reported the two non-football schools in the Sun Belt are being kicked out. Conf...

Re: Next round of conference realignment happening
12 of the 14 AAC schools are former Conference USA schools. Only Temple and Navy/Wichita State have never been in Conference USA. Additionally, of all 6 former AAC schools, 4 are former Conference USA schools. Only UConn and Rutgers were never in Conference USA. 20 total schools have been in the AA...

Will Texas A&M feel betrayed enough to want out of the SEC? Would the Big Ten want the Aggies if so?

Re: Oklahoma & Texas Looking At Joining SEC ?? ?? ??
Not much the Big Ten can do to counter this move. They could, theoretically, try to convince Texas and OU to join the Big Ten instead of the SEC. If the Big Ten contract is worth more than the SEC contract now, that means Texas and OU in the Big Ten would be more money for Texas and OU than going t...

Re: College Football Playoff Committee Recommends 12 Team Playoff
Another benefit to playoff expansion to 12 teams is it could lead to more exciting nonconference games in the regular season. We could see more powerhouses face each other in the regular season when there is no fear that a loss will jeopardize a playoff bid. For example, you could have Ohio State a...

Re: Old Dominion University eliminates wrestling, unhappy in CUSA
The last time I saw figures, the MAC made more money than Conference USA. CUSA used to make more money back before all those teams left for the AAC. When that contract expired, the new contract was for less money than the MAC receives, as CUSA today is now more or less the old Sun Belt Conference. ...

Re: AEW
I wish Raw and Smackdown were as good as NXT. Hunter pretty much runs the show at NXT, but Vince still lurks in the background with Raw and Smackdown. When the day comes that Hunter has control over Raw and Smackdown too, I'm hoping things improve. There are moments of greatness, but too much crap ...

Re: AEW
NXT has been really good as well. RAW and Smackdown need to improve. The first episode of Smackdown on FOX was really good. Hopefully they keep it up and it wasn't just that way because it was the first episode.
