Athens does not join the TVC until next season. They officially begin league play in all sports in the fall of 2008, so for baseball it will be spring 2009 before they play baseball league games.

You just couldn't beat the crowds at the Nelsonville-York vs. Logan games, whether they were played at Boston Field or the Hilltop.

These are the two most common mistakes made by reporters: 1. Saying Nelsonville instead of Nelsonville-York. (Pisses off everyone outside of Nelsonville) 2. Saying the high school & Boston Field are in Buchtel, because they are inside the city limits of Nelsonville. (Pisses off everyone in Nels...

Well, my background is not in webpage design. If I did make a webpage, it would be very basic. I'm more interested in just retrieving the information first and then see what happens from there.

I'm actually thinking about taking this on. I'll have some time after Thanksgiving. If I can handle writing a 50 page seminar paper, I think I could handle this. I could at least get the history back to 1967. It might be harder to get the old Greyhound stuff. But I don't think anyone wants to remem...

Nelsonville-York Football History

I was thinking that it would be nice to have a website that lists every season of Nelsonville-York football, the opponents played and scores to the games. I figure that between everyone from NY that is on this site, at least one person has access to a yearbook from each season. What do you guys thi...

Nelsonville Greyhounds - 1967 Class B State Champions in baseball. The state championship win was the last game for any Greyhound team, as they became the Nelsonville-York Buckeyes in the fall of '67.

Nelsonville used to be a baseball school, so I think it can be again one day.

If you look at the OHSAA website, it has a list of schools that can serve as playoff hosts and Boston Field is on the list! :)

How are Buckeye Bash ticket sales going? I bet there will be a mad rush for them at the end!
