Just do not see Athens or Logan winning too many against Jackson in the first 5/6 years. Why would you already say that? The Logan seniors that play in 2020 beat Jackson in the past, and in 2019 those boys only lost by a point during the 8th grade campaign. Granted those were a couple of years ago.

A template for Varsity Success: Jackson JH football. They consistently go undefeated in the JH level and it translates into their varsity program. I would assume that Trimble would never even think about scheduling games with Jackson or even Chillicothe.

Did Trimble play Vinton county or Meigs this year? Those two programs were the cream of the crop this year in the TVC JR.high division.

After looking at Independence highlights, I think Jackson wins by 17 plus. Jackson's defense is designed to stop running offenses. Jackson advances.

cbolt, I agree with your sentiment; however, my nephew played junior high ball at Logan two years ago, and he stated it was one of his best years. (Excitement level). Past two years I have heard it has been a struggle at the middle school level. I also see that Logan consistently has a freshmen team...

I must say the attrition from Jr. High to the HS has not been that bad, It is keeping them from Freshman to Sophomores. Also the Soccer team has exploded at Logan, which can not help the football numbers.
