Any word on how the teams looked? I was wondering who looked like the favorites on each side (SOC-I/ SOC-II)

I have to agree with Claw and admit, Williams would win at Eastern as well as Barrick. But I also believe just about any good coach would win at Eastern. Eastern is a very good basketball school. Where I disagree is when he said if the Superintendent hasn't involved Williams would still be their top...

Congrats Trojans on a great year! I'm really surprised Eastmoor was able to hold off Portsmouth. Huge upset win for them.

Congrats to Waterford on a magical run!!! No question TVC girls basketball is at the top right now!!

No Question Portsmouth should win this game! This will be their 4th game in the Convo compared to 2 for Eastmoor. Also Portsmouth has been in the Regional Finals 3 time in the past 5 years compared to 0 for Eastmoor. Plus tournament success is about guard play and PHS's guards are playing better.

You kind of had a good reason to think Wheelersburg would win when Tornadocager picked Fairland!

He also thought Ironton would win and South Webster would win the State. Unfortunately for Wheelersburg that was the one game he got right!

Trimble is a huge favorite in this game. No disrespect to East's "Bigs" but Trimble's "Bigs" are longer, faster and just as physical. Tempo will favor Trimble and in turn the game will go Trimble's way.

Trimble is a very balanced team. They had size, speed and good athletes. No insult to Sciotoville but Trimble is on a different level.

Congrats to Clay for winning the SOC I title! I think there is no doubt that Clay's coach wins "Coach-of-the-Year" honors! After having seen Paint Valley and Clay within the last month, Clay should have been the 2 Seed at Northwest!

Were these 4 schools in the same league? Did each of those schools run out of talent while the new school had talent coming up? Did he move to each new community? Just wondering!

Unfortunately he lost a lot of fans when he chased the talent! I don't think you are the only person that feels that way! Most truly basketball fans feel that way!

I didn't know about the 2 transfers but I did hear about the Gerald kid leaving.

Without the Gerald kid, Western should win this game going away. Western will excel in their half court offense without Gerald in the middle. But that is why they play the games .....
