No doubt most est are over rated, however distance has no play in discussion. 90 mph is 90 mph no matter what the distance.I also think that more HS players may throw in the 80's then most think.What seperates HS 80's from MLB 80's is controll and location,location,location.

I doubt the kid even cares what the caption said,just happy to get pic in paper.
However can't recall ever seeing a comparably negitive caption in any other paper about a HS player.Neg caps about the Browns were plentiful however.

I think Jackson's feild is better then Vinton Co.I agree Waverly by far the worst.I have not had the occasion to visit Minford's place,maybe this spring I'll make the trip over. Cap'n is right Warren HS is a great place to sit and watch a game,bring you lawn chair and can't beat the veiw.

Jackson always has a nice team,a lot of youngsters will play early in the season but i look for Jackson to finish in the top 3 of SEOAL.I doubt they repeat but I give them an outside shot at doing so.
