Re: Sugar Bowl: OSU vs Arkansas
All but Boom Herron had already decided to come back before the suspension issue arose. After the suspensions, all of them were leaning toward leaving in order to avoid the 2011 suspensions. Tressel had three options: 1. No suspension for the Sugar Bowl and no pledge to stay for 2011 2. Suspension f...

Re: Possible violations at OSU
Ken Gordon Tweet: NCAA release: Adams, Pryor, Posey, Herron & Thomas will sit out 1st 5 games of 2011 season for selling awards, etc Expect these characters to go pro. The NCAA/OSU must have decided for next yr because it is a worse punishment. It ensures, if they stay, that OSU plays Michigan S...

Re: Possible violations at OSU
Well, Bill Greene is saying that he was told by a player that the player will be suspended for 5 games next season. Sheesh. Five games.
These guys should have had dad pretend they were signing school-related documents and let the old man handle it all. Then they could never miss a game.

Since the shop is in trouble with the FBI anyway does not mean that they are telling the truth. If it is their word against the players. The autographs are not proof. Maybe their bad record keeping will not be able to prove it one way or another. They could prove that Cam did anything wrong yet. If...

Re: Waterford's D.J. Cunningham makes ESPN's Top play of the
Please. Just a coincidence that he was T'ed up repeatedly in high school, and just happened to snag one on TV last night. The kid is a punk, and apparently will be one for at least a little while longer. Ohio State should have put 6'3" Cory Vales (Fed Hock) on the floor, just so Cunningham woul...

Re: The Count Down till RR gets FIRED
JT wins consistently every single season. Those SEC teams pop up and then another one replaces them, and when they go down, they lose 4+ games. Why? Tough competition is part of it. The other part is they try to let that talent hang "loose" even when it is young and mistake-ridden. Then ag...

As sure as the sun is going to rise, OSU fans will build up the opposing team before they play them, and then belittle them if OSU wins...

Re: SHOULD THE BIG EAST BE KNOCKED OUT OF THE BCS AUTO BID?
By Friday evening Alabama could possibly have their 3rd loss...at best they will have lost 2....No one in their right mind could say that they are not one of the top teams in America either way...The BCS is a joke....all political...and the computer.. ...But I would imagine they will pass the...

Re: Sugar Bowl: OSU vs Arkansas
I think the key is OSU's D-line. If they get pressure on Mallet, he has shown that he'll make mistakes. If they don't, OSU's depleted secondary could be in trouble. Btw, the numbers in Arkansas's last four recruiting classes: 26 + 31 + 25 + 27 = 85? Errr no. 109. That is 24 recruited players over th...

Re: How good is #2?
I think I am just worn out with the best ever stuff. 2005- Reggie Bush was "the best eva" Post Rose Bowl - Vince Young was the best ever 2006- Ohio State was the best ever (didn't buy that perception at all either but heard it on national tv) 2007-2009 - Tim Tebow is the best ever and the ...

Orestes, I don't know if you are addressing me or not, but trust me, I am quite aware of how General Troll takes every opportunity to bash Ohio State's program whenever he can. I was merely responding to his faithful followers of a select few. I was responding to raiderball. He doesn't usually reac...

And if the Senator Vest ran a read run OR pass scheme, they would be undefeated...... He makes 3.5 million per year to coach Ohio State. Since you clearly know football better than he does, you might want to cash in on that paycheck. And state taxes, tuition, room & board, lab fees continue to g...

Re: The Count Down till RR gets FIRED
In my opinion, only an idiot would attempt to knock the accomplishments of Ohio State and their coach. A true fan would still have the memories of the John Cooper era and be more than pleased with what is currently going on at OSU. I realize everyone wants a National Championship every year, but ho...

Re: CAM NEWTON CLEARED; FATHER SLAPPED ON THE WRIST BY NCAA
When you pay straight cash, over-sign by 10-15 recruits per year, and have no academic standards, football rosters become easier to complete. Remember when James Brooks (Auburn, NFL) was in trouble. He couldn't even write his own name. He didn't know how to read or write. He played at Auburn from 19...

Even though it will be 5 weeks away whuch is a travesty. The Vest and the Bucks better stap em on tight because Arkansas will be the best team they have played in all aspects of the game for a few years. LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL A few years? Wow. 2008 USC, 2008 Penn State, 2008 Texas, 2009 Oregon, 2009 ...

Dont forget Troy Smith. Of course he only took "one" 500 dollar "handshake"... :) And it was self-reported. And what did the homers say after they played Florida? He was fat,out of shape, wasnt ready.... ...just a few short years ago OSU was the laughing stock of College Fo...
