Don't have final scores, but I heard Trail fell to Shenandoah and Caldwell beat Barnesville in OT tonight.

Not gonna be able to make it to this one. Keep us updated Eastern.

Never would have thought these two would have matching records coming into this game. Been a tough stretch for both teams. Gotta pull for the Skins in this one. A win here could really get the ball rolling.

MC has some good athletes, but I'm thinking river is to solid all around for MC to pull it off. Pretty sure I saw Price and Rivers coach at the Caldwell/MC game. Should have a pretty good understanding on what MC likes to do.

Central takes it. Don't have a final score. Caldwell couldn't hit from deep. Central plays fast and aggressive. Caldwell was probably under 25% from three. Had their chances, centrals biggest lead was maybe 6 or 8 points. Just couldn't get them to fall when they needed it most.

Both teams looking shaky. Lots of turnovers. Centrals up 3 at the start of the fourth. 3 ball isn't falling for Caldwell.

Gym is pretty sweet. Definitely like the look of it.

37-33 central at half. Not much fundamental basketball being played. Both teams in foul trouble and probably double digit turnovers.

I'll be heading out to the game here shortly. Guess it's time we let the players do the talking. Hoping for a good hard fought game. I'll try to remember to post some updates.

So in one thread you say you've never heard of half of them, yet you've seen them enough over the years? Makes sense. Central may very well win this game, but by the end if the year, this team will be better than last years.

And how many times have you seen them? I've seen these kids play for years. Talent wise they are much better than what Caldwell had last year. The only thing they lack is experience.

Everyone keeps talking about how much Caldwell lost, but what did they really lose? Croucher and Hesson were decent defenders but struggled offensively. Wasn't able to attend, but heard that Caldwell played really well in their preview. Hopefully it's a sign of things to come.

Can't think of anyone from central that will be able to lock down Weichman. Defense will be the key. The Seminoles will be pumped for this game, home opener in the new gym and all. If Caldwell can take control early in the first quarter and Weichman keeps the other players involved, I like their cha...

With the amount of things that go on for players before the season with open gyms, camps, AAU, etc. the amount of time it takes for players to adjust to the varsity level isn't what it used to be, IMO. All the jitters should be gone within the first couple games.
