Just some quick stats from the Caldwell v Liberty Union game. Both Lori and Clark had over 130 yards on the ground, and the defense held LU to just 8 first downs throughout the game.

Liberty Union did lose a lot from last year, but they're usually a solid program, and to be honest I didn't expect that big of a blowout. Right now I'd rank them:

Thanks for the info and link fuzzhead. Sounds like LU is building a solid program, but that's a lot to replace. Hoping Caldwell can walk away with a win and get the season started off right.

Anyone have any info on Liberty Union this year? I haven't heard much on them, except that they're usually a regular in the playoffs the past few years.

I had heard that Caldwell scored twice and wasn't scored on, but I wasn't sure if that was just against Williamstown or both teams. Was just wondering if anyone had more detailed info.

Anyone have any info on how Caldwells scrimmage went? Believe it was against Williamstown and Belpre.

Haven't heard a whole lot on Liberty Union. Believe they've had several solid years but were senior laden last year. Not sure what all they return. Should be a good test for the Redskins though. Like the idea of the beefed up schedule.

If memory serves me right, Caldwell comes in at #3 in division 7 as well.

As a Caldwell fan, I don't believe we got "robbed". Caldwell had their chances to put the game totally in their control, but failed to do so, and Trimble responded. Would not be surprised to see a rematch at some point this year.

Pretty sure Shadyside lost a lot to graduation, and heard Newark Catholic is still down. While Shadyside did lose some quality players to graduation, they always seem to field a quality team.
