Glenwood at Saint Joseph postponed to Tuesday, Feb. 4th. It will be played at 6:00 pm before the boys varsity game with Glenwood. Both games will be played in the auxiliary gym at Ironton HS.

All correct except St. Joe played and beat Notre Dame at Ironton Shootout on Feb. 1 55-45. Fairland played Lewis Co. at Ironton Shootout.

River will play Paden City at Magnolia on Feb. 6th in the 1st game and Magnolia will play Wheeling Central in the night cap. Not sure of the time for either game, believe the first game is early. Make -up from Jan. 25th. Need to check with Magnolia High School or River or Paden City.

St. Joseph did play Whiteoak last year and this season. I've seen your comments trying to downgrade teams. If that is what you like to do, let 'em rip.

St. Joseph is 13-6. They have been beaten by South Point (15-3) by 7, Charleston Catholic (9-3), Manchester (10-7) twice by 5 & 3. They had 2 bad losses to Western (1-20 1st Qu. still had lead with min. to play), and Portsmouth ( Peighton Williams had monster night). Good wins include Notre Dame...

The SJ-ND game is at 4:30 pm. It was switched when Miami Trace had a conflict and needed an earlier game time. Ironton- MT is at 1:00 pm.

How did River play so close to the mighty Cadets? River fans said they played very well on defense and hustled all over the floor. Was the close score a surprise?

The boys Ironton Saint Joseph vs. Portsmouth Notre Dame game scheduled at 2:00 pm at Ironton HS has been postponed. Makeup TBD.

What happened to River in the 4th quarter? Did Monroe step up or River step back? The newspaper said the Pilots were ahead in the 4th.

River has only scored 50 points in two games, a victory over Frontier and a gift from Magnolia in a bad loss. They struggle when shooting the ball, they play good defense but make many turnovers. The problems with many young teams. They work hard. Their top 7 players from last years team graduated.

Caldwell at River on Friday night, May be a miss match but the Redskins never seem to play well at River. The young pilots are struggling with scoring and that will be a problem against Caldwell. Hope it is an entertaining game.

I am sorry Riveris 2 and 9 they had a game canceled due to cold against Bridgeport

River is 2-10 I feel you left out ther game with Federal Hocking over the Christmas break. They have PVC games with FF, Mc, Caldwell, Shenandoah, Trail and non-conference games with Mag and PC. The 2 OVAC games makes the 22. They must play Monroe 2 times, cancellation earlier.

River plays Frontier tonight . One of only two wins this season, River always has a tough time at Frontier. Could be a good game, both teams played last night. Frontier had a difficult time last night with Shenandoah and River got beat by 30 at Shadyside.

Your man Romick just picked up Eastern, much less fan friendly an any PVC school. I am sure the coach will take the blame but the AD had to agree. There will be many more changes at River in athletics very soon. They left the PVC due to travel and picked up eastern ?
