Bottom line is: kids won't come out and play for a losing program these days. We have had losing records 10 of the last 15 years so we are honestly in that category. If Burg wasn't 10 miles down the road there wouldn't be much reason for us to schedule each other. I'm not at all excited about river ...

We feel personally responsible for their playoff struggles the last few years. It's been nearly impossible to sleep knowing that if we had given them more competition they might have played better.

I didn't realize that Waverly hadn't had a winning season since 2006, they were pretty good in the early 2000s when we were playing them yearly.
