C'mon Jake, I know you're a Vinton County fan, but don't play the disrespect card! I haven't heard of any disrespect for VC. As a matter of fact, IMO, in Division 2 I would rank VC as a top 4 program year to year. I would put LE 1st, Chillicothe 2, McClain 3, and VC 4.

VC has lost 3 times this year, and this is the first time I've seen any VC fan criticize the officials.

Had an opportunity to watch this last night, and I thought both teams showed promise. I wouldn't read too much into who won this game. Both coaches looked to be substituting a lot of players in and out. Both of these teams are well coached and well stocked with talent.

JACKSON - I don't think anyone said they were a powerhouse, I just mentioned them and Gallia as D-2 opponents.

Actually, Jackson should be rather good. They have Newsome, and Dobbins, and return several others off a team that really improved late last season.

This will probably be a very tough game for Vinton. From what I watched on Friday against Meigs, Athens may be the best team in the TVC. I wouldn't be shocked if they went unbeaten.
