Indeed, looks like a challenging schedule.

Re: Ironton to the OVC?
FORREST SAYS: unanimous is not true, don't know where that came from? The by laws for the league say if more than one team votes no. :122248 so it takes 2 no votes I've seen it posted multiple times here on SEOP that the vote had to be unanimous. But I accept your statement. However, I've also seen...

Re: 8/30 Wheelersburg @ Ironton
This game, of late being the season opener, generally serves as a good indicator of Ironton's success (or lack thereof) for the remainder of the season. As always, I'm hoping for a Fighting Tiger victory but I don't think it will be easy.
Re: Region 17
I definitely think that Region 17 is one of the top 4 regions in D V.

The IHS Class of 1968 will be at this game as part of their 45 year reunion. It would be a great start to the reunion weekend to see the Fighting Tigers get a win.

Re: Seating on one side only
didnt the old field at jackson only have seating on one side? seemed like on the other side the sideline was almost right underneath the press box I know at one time (circa 1982?), there was visitors seating on about one half the length of the field (something like from the 50 to one goal line)... ...

Let's see. Reedsville Eastern Caldwell (you sit in the grandstand at the Noble County Fairgrounds) Shenandoah (which is a nice place to watch a game) Memory serves me right, Bellaire. Federal Hocking It has been a while, but Bellaire had seating on both sides when I was there. I think it was 1995. ...

How many points has he(Carter) scored in his high school career? How does he compare to Humpty Hitchens from Chillicothe? What college is he going to attend? Is he a senior? I know he's well over 1000, and is the top scorer in Ironton basketball history. He is a senior. I have to plead ignorance ab...

Congrats to Zac.
In my opinion, mentioned above are four excellent candidates for the Ironton sports HOF:
Zac, Dennis, Lauren, and Trey.

I had a 76 Grand Prix, Firethorn Red, with the "small" engine - I think a 350 v8. Yeah, if you were concerned about gas mileage, a GP wasn't the car for youTrenchfoot wrote:1976 Grand Prix SJ 455 V8. Gas hog. Couldn't imagine keeping gas in it today. :122245
