Re: Marshall kind of screwed in Conference USA

If anything the realignment beneifits Marshall more than it harms them. They are in a southern based conference now, which is ideal for them. The games are drivable as well. ODU, WKU,MT, Charlotte are easy games to get to. The two Florida schools are direct flight from Huntington. The reason Marshal...

Re: Rock Hill @ Chesapeake

I HEARD( but can't CONFIRM) that both schools had their involved players go out for sports they actually don't play, so they could 'make the team' & serve their suspensions in those sports, rather than serve' em in basketball or in football next year. Sneaky, but LEGAL. I would put close to zer...

From what I understand, Gailia has been offered an invite recently, but turned it down. Things could change though.

Phil Davis Field at Chesapeake

Tonight Chesapeake will dedicate and name the field after Hall Of Fame Coach Phil Davis. There is a nice new sign that was just placed underneath the score board.

We are also picking up a solid gate every year assuming that Ironton and Portsmouth play us at home on opposite years.

Re: OVC-WILL THEY ADD SCHOOLS

They did apply two years ago but were voted down by CG and RH. They are in the MSOVC starting next year on a probationary membership for the next two years. They'll get a vote one way or another depending on the facilities that will be used during their stint.

Re: Jr. High football week one:

Ironton has applied to join the OVC in High School as recently as two seasons ago. CG and Rock Hill nixed it. If the administration there want access to an easier scheduling arrangement for the MS, then they'll have to open up some lockrooms and a decent feild for the kids to play on, just like they...

Re: Jr. High football week one:

There is an MSOVC board/president. The middle school pricipals will vote on whether or not to allow new membership, and if their teams arent afforded the same facilities that they afford other teams, then I don't see Ironton being voted in.

Re: Jr. High football week one:

It will be interesting to see if Ironton allows them to use Tanks. They are in a probationary period in the MSOVC (Going to be starting next year actually), and playing on the practice field will NOT do them any favors with the rest of the league that actuall uses their main facilities for the games.

Do a web search, it's caving in all around them. Again, it's simply a theory . Now, back to the thread..scientist have said that there was a 'big bang' or a beginning of the universe' problem, where did the matter come from to start that big bang? they're trying to say there was no beginning but it...
