Thanks for the update TPAA. I was on the Western Carolina Web site the other day and noticed that Brig was the team leader in steals and assists. No player on the WCU team was even close to Brig's numbers in those two categories. The 4.0 GPA is a fantastic achievement considering the time requiremen...

ghostwriter:
I Won't Back Down was written by Petty as a message to the music industry executives that wanted to price Petty's album at a "new" industry high- $9.98....and Tom Petty said no way.

I am a big fan of Tom Petty's music as well. He is an incredible artist. I think Refugee was one of the best songs of all time. I also enjoyed his work with Stevie Nicks. Ghostwriter...Do you think we could get Tom Petty to stop in Ironton on his 2008 tour? We certainly have enough vacant properties...

Army: As for Roger Zornes, my dad was a good friend with that man before he ever coached at Ironton. My dad even played golf with him on Fridays. Bob Vaughn, kantucky and I attended the perfect season (20-0) dinner honoring the basketball team. This dinner was by invitation only. If Roger Zornes did...

Zanes-Vegas: You are so removed from the situation in Ironton. Why would you make such comments on here? Bob Vaughn, the school board member you are speaking about, did NOT make a motion in December without gathering information. Over the years, this guy has filmed numerous basketball games for coac...

During their 2007 visit, the coaches from Olentangy Liberty told me that their players and staff were quite impressed with the entire campus at Ironton High. It was their first visit to town and they loved our high school and football stadium. I told the coaches to take a good look at the place, bec...

I would say that the Boston album is the one that stands out the most to me. Also, Frampton Comes Alive was huge during the 1970s. That album gets a ton of play on the radio to this day. As for world impact, it would be hard to top ABBA's international success in the late 1970s. Dancing Queen, Knowi...
