One of my neighbors graduated from IHS and now teaches in another district. Like you, she cried when she saw the building nearly torn down. I told her to save those tears for when she gets a look at the structure built to replace "Dear Old Ironton High".

I was at a school board meeting earlier this year when a prominent Tiger Clan member asked the board to get us out of the SEOAL. As I recall, he said the league "is killing us".

The new school board will meet on January 3rd according to tonight's Tribune and consider a resolution to rescind the vote to leave the SEOAL.
