Re: OVC WK4 (1-2) Portsmouth @ (1-2) Rock Hill
I think if you look at this team numbers are low, not a lot of subs to use period . but there will always be haters, time will tell but in my opinion they play hard and given time I think Lutz will bring the program back to winning

Re: OVC WK4 (1-2) Portsmouth @ (1-2) Rock Hill
Low numbers, young team but a lot of heart, every team always should feel they have a shot at the title but RH fans should have known it would be a tough season, as they say Rome wasn't built in a day, I agree just a couple plays here and there and could easily be 4 and 0 but that's why they play th...

Re: Week 5: Rock Hill @ Fairland
For a young team with low numbers and first year under a new coach RH has played their butts off, been in every game and in my opinion no one should just take them for granted, but that being said Fairland seems to be rolling along and I'd have to give them the edge , but if the Redmen can keep the ...

Re: Fairland(27) @ (21)Ironton
As far as biggest win for Fairland I would think winning the conference would be much bigger than winning one game against Ironton, but to put it in perspective there has been a lot of animosity between county teams and Ironton for quite a few years due to the feeling that a lot of the tigers succes...

Re: WK3 (0-2) Fairland @ (1-1) Ironton
Great win for Fairland, hard fought for both teams, it's sad that 3rd game of the season Ironton fans are calling for heads to fall, maybe Vass isn't the coach to lead them to dominance again, but because so many live in the past and have blinder's on as to why they had that dominance the program su...

Re: Chasing Ghosts: The Haunting of Ironton football
Brag about the past all you want. that was then this is now, and I have seen you post about how the weak OVC teams are, and that they are always one and done when they do manage a playoff game , and now you boast of winning it? as far as tons of kids to college ball they may have went but not that m...

Re: Chasing Ghosts: The Haunting of Ironton football
One thing I think Ironton fan's and other's seem to be doing is overthinking and searching for blame, its pretty simple in the past Ironton had Coach Lutz , he won games made playoff's and a couple titles. That was the draw to the tank for athletes in the area, several transfers from other area scho...

Re: Serious Burg vs Ironton question
Ironton's words have come back home to rest, for years they made fun of the OVC stating that you could never build a playoff caliber team in the OVC its always too weak, that you would always be one and done if you did make playoff's, That to be the best you had to build the best. Now they boast of ...
