Well, in today's society, education is expected to do things and teach skills that were once home training, like tying shoes, hygene, respect for authority, sex education, etc. Why not firearm and hunting safety?

LT getting rough time after AFC Final

LaDainian Tomlinson is getting a rough time from former and current pro athletes as well as radio personalities and fans in general after taking himself out of the AFC final in New England due to his pre-existing injury. Did he really wuss out? Was he really hurt that bad and shouldn't have played i...

I don't know since the first of the year, but my wife has lost a ton since her 401k topped out 4th quarter last year. If it were only 1k, I'd do back flips. It is really depressing. I guess if you go with the two money gurus that I listen to; you shouldn't worry if you have the stomach for it. If yo...

Re: Ironton Police

Got A Question? Why doesn't the Ironton police patrol the schools speed zones? I pick my son up after school at the junior high and I just sit their waiting for a kid to get hit. People fly around their, and kids are trying to cross the streets, by the church and the way the buses are sitting kids ...

im soon going to say get back to WV He isn't, and never will be, welcome back at WVU. The interesting thing to me about this shredding incident is that everyone who knows him personally assumes he did it out of childish anger. He thought his players and the community would be heartbroken over him l...

This speed thing isn't new. I've been a fan/victim of it for years in the past. I am a Nebraska fan at heart. The Huskers used to get beaten year after year in the Orange Bowl by faster teams like Miami and FSU year after year. The Nebraska use of the Oklahoma 5-2/3-4 scheme with big/strong LB's was...

Is speed the reason our lines got owned? I wonder hoe many consecutive possessions LSU scored on? It reminded me of the Illinois game in that our defense simply couldnt get off the field. I believe it helped. How many times did Boeckman have to run for his life after the receivers didn't get open? ...

My biggest tweek would be speed on defense. LSU's receivers looked faster than the OSU guys all night long as well as last year against Florida. Tressel's schemes are good, but speed kills and OSU needs a little more, especially on the D side of the ball.
