Re: Meigs Vs. Hillsboro
Crazy that just 1 tournament win against a subpar opponent puts you in the district championship game. Result of all the new divisions they changed to. But hey we'll take it, glad Meigs boys get to play in the Convo. Best of Luck! You still gotta earn your seeding and i think 21-1 does that for you...

Re: Congratulations to my boy on his JV coaching record
I found most of the old scrap books and did some counting. When you add in his wins as JV and Freshman coach at Southern, Howie now has 1,703 wins all time. Put that in your pipe and smoke it! Well if you’re counting all that you might as well throw in the two wins he had as co- head football coach...

We pretty much get our pick of refs and still can’t even beat Wahama.

Re: Wahama @ Southern
Wahama wins by 4. I just don’t get it. We used to own those guys. Good thing Danny kicked them out of the TVC or our title hopes would be dead again this year. I thought since we couldn’t seem to ever beat them at their place the plan was to get Wahama out of the league so we could win it? He11 we ...

Re: My friend Coach Matt Combs...
I juts wish my boys down at Toms Butcher Shop would pony up the dough to bring Howie back to Racine. Everyone knows we made a mistake when we ran him off and now all we want is to see him win here and stop watching him win every other place he chooses to caoch. Its painfu to think of how many state...

Re: My friend Coach Matt Combs...
I dont care about no guys who have coons dogs. What I wants to know is whther they is a chance we could lure that Caldwell guy from Trimble over here. He is top notch. We wouldnt miss a beat. That will depend totally on the present and future talent level of the players and the financial package th...

Re: TVC HOCKING COULD GET INTERESTING
I'm glad he's no longer coaching here. We finally have a proven winner. We could use some help on defense, but Cassy's offense is pretty much unstoppable.Fletchlives wrote: Fri Mar 20, 2020 9:45 pm Oh please Teaford,

Wait how much are junior refs making a week? If I do any games feel free to verbally abuse me while I count my bills That’s what I’m saying. I’ll run up and down the court for a few hours and let idiots scream at me for $70 every day of the week And here I am paying planet fitness to run on their t...

Re: If I were a coach......
The great Dave Young was doing a postgame radio interview and radio guy asked about his super sophomore Kraig Unger who went off for 36 points. Dave replied “that’s great but he gave up 40 points on defense” Kids don’t care about that enough (or at all) and parents don’t help. Carl would bench anyo...

Re: Officiating Question
I’ve lifted dang near everyday for ten years now and played Rec ball in college. Of course you don’t lift before a game??? Common sense. As far as gaining strength and muscle mass, it definitely doesn’t affect the shot except maybe making a strength adjustment. I wouldn’t have my kids lift heavy th...

Weights do not throw off a shot 😂 Apparently you've never lifted weights and then tried to shoot. They definitely throw off yer shot. Lead is responsible for throw in and players oppo lane until shot then eyes go to three on table side , never blow whistle on air ball. Center is responsible for shooter ,line, shot and oppo lane until shot then close down and ref shooter, shot, and 3 in lane. Trail is responsible for players outsi...

Something is a little sketchy about why Danny Boy keeps putting down the idea of a league assigner for the tvc. What is the scoop?

Re: Southern v Eastern: The Aftermath
Identify where Coach Wolfe was criticized. If you mean where another poster stated in facts in which he left Southern, and coached at other schools, yes I did agree with that statement. The facts. Coach Wolfe definitely coached some great teams in the past. Which is exactly that, in the past. Holds...

Oh so you're Carl Wolfe? If not, then please let us know when you took a team to the state championship. I'm not the one on here hating, nor winning the prize for hating on a hall of fame coach. That would be you and your hero. So, when did you take a team to nearly win the whole state since you're...

Don't try and reason with idiots baseball16. Facts are not of import to morons. I see, haters abound. So, what years did you two prize winners take teams on a long tourny run and almost win the state? Oh so you're Carl Wolfe? If not, then please let us know when you took a team to the state champio...
