To be fair Waterford did miss several opportunities to control this game. I can think of couple long passes that were on td if not dropped. And Waterford had Harris out and 2 starting ol. But all that is not an excuse southern played their hearts out and nearly shook up the hocking with this game.

I'd like to see one of the top hocking teams (Waterford,Trimble) cross the river and play a good WV team like st. Mary's or Williamstown travel wouldn't be bad.

I'm not sure you win it next year. Beallville, Stephens, and few others return to Waterford next year. Trimble has had few tries and yet to figure way to stop beallville and Waterford offense.

Being able to maximize talent! Weather you have studs or first year players coach has to find there strengths and utilize it. Also very important aspect of coaching is being able to see what your opponent is doing and making adjustments.

Belleville from Waterford is best I've seen. He isn't a big kid but he plays like one! I'm not saying he's best in area but undoubtedly best I've seen this year. Side note I've only seen Waterford and their opponents thus far. Idk if he counts but Jayden smith from st Mary's(wv) is a STUD!!
