Where is all the talk on this season? Been really quite so far. Nothing after the Jackson, GA or the NY tournaments,
surprisingly. Seems like everyone has been talking football and basketball.

Would love the see RV get their first win! Think it's gonna be ugly, win or loose. Lots of penalties, lots of trash talking, these kids know each other, so they won't hold back. Since Peck coached at SG before, that's gonna cause some tension also.

it depends on what Vc team shows up. if it's the Vc team that played against SE then Vc wins big but if its the Vc team that got beat by Alex then it will be a dog fight Would love to see RV get a win. Hope it's a dog fight, would much rather see a low scoring game, than a running clock by halftime.

I haven't heard anything on it, but it would be great if true. Local taxes would likely go up $15-20 every paycheck to pay for it. $15 per 4000 people every other week, with maybe 2/3 of those 4000 working, I could see it happening and actually being pretty darn nice. I'd love to see RV get their 1st win, but after watching them these last 6 weeks, and knowing nothing about Alexander's team, it's hard to say.

Unfortunately I see Wellston winning, RV has 1 QB out hurt and another was ejected at the Meigs game, and the JV QB is a freshman and not up to a varsity level.

Memorial Field has flooded at least once a year since it was built, everyone in Gallia County knows this. From what I heard, the track at the new GAHS was built too small for a football field to be in the middle, and now there is no money to rip it up and do it again.

I'm not going to argue about this.

Both Warren and Marietta should join a league closer to them, or form a new one up there. I'm sure parents from VC, Wellston and RV, (the farthest 3 away) don't want to drive to these schools, especially on a school night, during wrestling and basketball season. Let alone any other time of the year!...
