In the first half Waverly tried to trap a couple times and it ended in easy buckets for one of the bigs #44 I think. The Tigers also tried to drive into the trees and throw up prayers asking for fouls and it just wasn't working for them. Waverly in the second half, got the game played at their pace....

I would rather be the #6 seed than the #4 or #5. It gives you a "better" draw in the district, not that I know it matters as deep as the district is this year.

As for the game- I don't think either Waverly or Eastern played their best game. I was hoping both teams would be super sharp, but on a back-to-back that's hard to accomplish. Waverly played Piketon last year on Day 1 and Eastern in 2015 now the rotation is back to Western that is why Waverly has the easiest first game each year.
